[Termes IGN] PologneRésumé : (auteur) Land value maps are generally used in mass appraisal for the determination of property taxes. In view of the complex nature of property management processes, land value maps may also serve a variety of purposes which are not dictated by legal requirements. This study proposes a concept for the development of a land value map which may be applied for non-tax purposes. The proposed map was developed with the use of statistical and geostatistical methods. A reference layer corresponding to a representative property was developed, and statistical models were used to determine coefficients that adjust property value in view of its non-spatial attributes. A theoretical concept was presented, and it was used to develop a land value map for the city of Olsztyn in North-Eastern Poland. [Termes IGN] température au solRésumé : (Auteur) Prediction of spatial attributes has attracted significant research interest in recent years. It is challenging especially when spatial data contain errors and missing values. Geostatistical estimators are used to predict the missing attribute values from the observed values of known surrounding data points, a general form of which is referred as kriging in the field of geographic information system and remote sensing. The proposed semantic kriging (SemK) tries to blend the semantics of spatial features (of surrounding data points) with ordinary kriging (OK) method for prediction of the attribute. Experimentation has been carried out with land surface temperature data of four major metropolitan cities in India. It shows that SemK outperforms the OK and most of the existing spatial interpolation methods. [Termes IGN] profondeurRésumé : (Auteur) This article illustrates two techniques for merging daily aerosol optical depth (AOD) measurements from satellite and ground-based data sources to achieve optimal data quality and spatial coverage. The first technique is a traditional Universal Kriging (UK) approach employed to predict AOD from multi-sensor aerosol products that are aggregated on a reference grid with AERONET as ground truth. The second technique is spatial statistical data fusion (SSDF); a method designed for massive satellite data interpolation. Traditional kriging has computational complexity O(N3), making it impractical for large datasets. Our version of UK accommodates massive data inputs by performing kriging locally, while SSDF accommodates massive data inputs by modelling their covariance structure with a low-rank linear model. In this study, we use aerosol data products from two satellite instruments: the moderate resolution imaging spectrometer and the geostationary operational environmental satellite, covering the Continental United States.
