[Vedettes matières IGN] GéovisualisationRésumé : (auteur) A virtual reality GIS analysis platform based on spatial query is proposed in this paper. The proposed platform serves 3D digital city and supports integrated VRGIS functions including 3D spatial analysis functions and 3D visualization functions for spatial process. The 3D analysis and visualization of the concerned city massive information are conducted on the platform. The amount of information that can be visualized through this platform is overwhelming, and the GIS-based navigational scheme allows great flexibility in accessing different available data sources. A multi-level mixed three-dimensional space index is built for the virtual scene. Multi-task parallel scheduling and pre-scheduling algorithms are designed to support the distribution and query of spatial data. Experiment result indicates that the designed query algorithm improves the performance of the proposed system. [Termes IGN] utilisateurRésumé : (auteur) Building Information Modelling (BIM) is part of a wider digital innovation that has arrived as an epochal transition in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) Industry. Although the benefits of BIM within the supply-side of the industry have been widely explored, its impact on the value for clients and end-users has been researched in a limited manner so far. The paper reviews some of the BIM-related technologies which could effectively support client and end-user involvement in the briefing process. Four main types of information technologies are considered and grouped as (1) rule-based validation tools (i.e. briefing software; rule-based model checking) and (2) simulation-based validation tools (i.e. gamification, immersive virtual environments). Those technologies are analysed and compared in order to identify what has already been done, possible future trends, evaluate their integration in the briefing process and, finally, take into account both their advantages and disadvantages in supporting the effective involvement of the demand-side of construction in digitally-enabled processes. [Termes IGN] vision binoculaireRésumé : (éditeur) Focusing on recent advances in analytical techniques, this third edition of Andrew Duchowski’s successful guide has been revised and extended. It includes new chapters on calibration accuracy, precision and correction; advanced eye movement analysis; binocular eye movement analysis; practical gaze analytics; eye movement synthesis. Eye Tracking Methodology opens with useful background information, including an introduction to the human visual system and key issues in visual perception and eye movement. The author then surveys eye-tracking devices and provides a detailed introduction to the technical requirements necessary for installing a system and developing an application program. Modern programming examples (in Python) are included and the author outlines the gaze analytics pipeline, a step-by-step data processing sequence from raw data to statistical analysis. Focusing on the use of modern video-based, corneal-reflection eye trackers – the most widely available and affordable types of systems, Andrew Duchowski takes a look at a number of interesting and challenging applications in human factors, collaborative systems, virtual reality, marketing and advertising. His primary focus is on methodology, and how analysis of eye movements can enhance research and development of anything that is inspected visually.
