[Termes IGN] test de performanceRésumé : (Auteur) We tested the accuracy and usability of a sparse GNSS reference station network for network RTK (NRTK) using the Finnish permanent GNSS network FinnRef. We modified the configuration of the FinnRef network stations used in NRTK computation. This allowed us to perform the test both inside and outside of the network area using different NRTK methods and two different RTK receivers. In the test area the average distance between the FinnRef stationswas 160 km. As a comparison,we tested also with the commercial Trimnet and HxGN SmartNet positioning services operated by Geotrim Oy and Leica Geosystems Finland, respectively. Tests showed that the horizontal and vertical rms of Trimnet servicewas 16mmand 40 mm, and of HxGN SmartNet service 23mmand 48 mm. The best rms for the sparse NLS (National Land Survey of Finland) Service was 22 mm and 56 mm. These results indicate that a good NRTK solution can be achieved with a sparser network than typically used. This study also indicates, that the methods for NRTK processing can also affect the quality of the solution. [Termes IGN] test de performanceRésumé : (auteur) The emergence of low-cost, navigation-type receivers capable to provide carrier-phase data (the so-called high-sensitivity carrier-phase positioning) has been steadily growing over the recent years. The aim of this study was to evaluate the positioning performance of a high-sensitivity receiver in a network real-time kinematic environment for mapping surveying applications. Specifically, using as rover receiver the u-blox NEO-7P module and the low-cost antenna Tallysman TW2410, sets of data were collected for the purpose of mapping surveying. The external accuracy of the obtained solutions is considered using different positioning techniques and the internal indicators of the system during real-time kinematic (RTK) positioning are assessed. The assessment indicates that in benign environments this type of receivers produce results that are comparable to RTK positioning using geodetic receivers and with a significantly lower cost. [Termes IGN] résolution d'ambiguïtéRésumé : (Auteur) GLONASS double-differenced (DD) ambiguity resolution is hindered by the inter-frequency bias (IFB) in GLONASS observation. We propose a new algorithm for IFB rate estimation to solve this problem. Although the wavelength of the widelane observation is several times that of the L1 observation, their IFB errors are similar in units of meters. Based on this property, the new algorithm can restrict the IFB effect on widelane observation within 0.5 cycles, which means the GLONASS widelane DD ambiguity can be accurately fixed. With the widelane integer ambiguity and phase observation, the IFB rate can be estimated using single-epoch measurements, called the single-epoch IFB rate estimation algorithm, or using the Kalman filter to process all data, called the Kalman filter-based IFB rate estimation algorithm. Due to insufficient accuracy of the IFB rate estimated from widelane observations, the IFB rate has to be further refined with L1 and L2 observations. A new reference satellite selection method is proposed to serve the IFB rate estimation. The experiment results show that the IFB rates on L1 and L2 bands are different, that an accurate IFB rate will help us to obtain more fixed solutions at places with serious occlusion, that the single-epoch IFB rate estimation algorithm can meet the requirements for real-time kinematic positioning with only 8% extra computational time, and that the Kalman filter-based IFB rate estimation algorithm is a satisfactory option for high-accuracy GLONASS positioning.
