[Termes IGN] vision par ordinateurRésumé : (auteur) The real-time kinematic positioning technique (RTK) and visual–inertial odometry (VIO) are both promising positioning technologies. However, RTK degrades in GNSS-hostile areas, where global navigation satellite system (GNSS) signals are reflected and blocked, while VIO is affected by long-term drift. The integration of RTK and VIO can improve the accuracy and robustness of positioning. In recent years, smartphones equipped with multiple sensors have become commodities and can provide measurements for integrating RTK and VIO. This paper verifies the feasibility of integrating RTK and VIO using smartphones, and we propose an improved algorithm to integrate RTK and VIO with better performance. We began by developing an Android smartphone application for data collection and then wrote a Python program to convert the data to a robot operating system (ROS) bag. Next, we established two ROS nodes to calculate the RTK results and accomplish the integration. Finally, we conducted experiments in urban areas to assess the integration of RTK and VIO based on smartphones. The results demonstrate that the integration improves the accuracy and robustness of positioning and that our improved algorithm reduces altitude deviation. Our work can aid navigation and positioning research, which is the reason why we open source the majority of the codes at our GitHub. [Vedettes matières IGN] Traitement de données GNSSRésumé : (auteur) A modified multipath error mitigation method using the multi-point hemispherical grid model (MHGM) is proposed, and the influence of changes in the observation environments of IGS stations on their data quality is evaluated. The multipath error models of different satellite pairs for different observation periods can be established using the integrated multi-GNSS data in the proposed method. The test under deliberate high multipath environment reveals that this method can effectively estimate the GNSS multipath error, detect and present the orientation of the interference sources around the station. The RMS of residuals and the kinematic positioning accuracy on day 237 of 2018 are improved by 68% and 61%, respectively. Compared with the empirical site model (ESM), which can also visualize the effects of the multipath, the RMS of residuals when applying the MHGM is improved by 20%. The test with IGS historical observations shows that MHGM can effectively reflect the influence of changing multipath interference around stations on carrier phase observations, with an average improvement of 25% in the RMS of carrier phase residuals in the extrapolated 9-day validations over the past 18 years. The results of a kinematic positioning experiment in 2019 generally coincide with the RMS statistic results of carrier phase residuals as well. The MHGM demonstrates distinct potential in the influence evaluation of changes for the multipath interference around the stations on their observation quality. [Termes IGN] temps de convergenceRésumé : (auteur) PPP-RTK extends the precise point positioning (PPP) concept by incorporating the idea of integer ambiguity resolution underlying the real-time kinematic (RTK) technique, making rapid initialization and high accuracy attainable with a standalone receiver. While PPP-RTK has been well achieved by using global navigation satellite system code division multiple access observables, GLONASS PPP-RTK is nonetheless challenging due to the nature of frequency division multiple access (FDMA) observables. In this work, we present a GLONASS PPP-RTK concept that takes advantage of the integer-estimable FDMA (IE-FDMA) model recently proposed in Teunissen (in GPS Solut 23(4):1–19, 2019. https://doi.org/10.1007/s10291-019-0889-0) to guarantee rigorous integer ambiguity resolution and simultaneously takes care of the presence of the inter-frequency biases (IFBs) in homogeneous and heterogeneous network configurations. When conducting GLONASS PPP-RTK based on a network of homogeneous receivers, code and phase observation equations are used to construct the IE-FDMA model, in which the IFBs are implicitly eliminated through reparameterization. For a network consisting of heterogeneous receivers, we exclude the code observables and develop a phase-only IE-FDMA model instead, thereby circumventing the adverse effects of IFBs. For verification purposes, we collect a set of five-day global positioning system (GPS) and GLONASS data from two regional networks: one equipped with homogeneous receivers and another with heterogeneous receivers. The results show that the GLONASS-specific network corrections, including satellite clocks, satellite phase biases, and ionospheric delays estimated by the two networks, are as precise as those of their GPS-specific counterparts. Via satellite clock and phase bias corrections, we succeed in fixing both GPS and GLONASS ambiguities, shortening the convergence time to 5 (12) min, compared to 11 (18) min of ambiguity-float positioning in the case of a homogeneous (heterogeneous) network with a data sampling rate of 30 s. For ambiguity-fixed positioning, the convergence time defined in this work also indicates the time to first fix since the positioning error converges to the centimeter level once successful integer ambiguity resolution is achieved. Adding ionospheric corrections further speeds up the initialization in the two networks, with the convergence time being reduced to 0.5 (3) min. Compared with GPS-only positioning, the integration of GPS and GLONASS yields an improvement of 8–34% in accuracy and leads to a reduction of 25–50% in convergence. [Termes IGN] vaseRésumé : (Auteur) A remote sensing method combining remote sensing and ground surveying is proposed to extract tidal flat topographic information via the spatial distribution characteristics of tidal flat surface features. Based on the eastern Chongming beach of the Yangtze Estuary and Landsat-5 satellite images, this study identifies the spatial distribution characteristics of tidal flat features using field-based RTK data and spectral data. The remote sensing method for extracting the geometric and physical characteristics of linear and surface geographical elements on tidal flats and the elevation assignment method are discussed. The effectiveness of this method is verified by the quality of the resultant tidal flat DEM. The results show that the use of spatial distribution features in remote sensing images can provide rich topographic information. The DEM results have an accuracy of 0.16 m, are in line with the basic topographic patterns of tidal flats, and can describe local microscale geomorphic features. This technique solves the problem of a single topographic information source in current remote sensing measurement methods and provides technical support for detecting dynamic changes in coastal zones by using remote sensing technology.
