[Termes IGN] web des donnéesRésumé : (Auteur) The synthesis of spatial data from the various sources available on the Web is a major challenge for current applications based on Web-based information retrieval and spatial decision-making. This article addresses spatial data fusion, with particular emphasis on its application in Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDIs). Possibilities for the integration of SDI and Semantic Web developments in the context of spatial data fusion are reviewed with a focus on the harmonized description and usage of feature relations. Specifically, potential applications of Linked Data principles are discussed in detail. On this basis, a classification and a decomposition of fusion processes in a service-oriented environment are proposed. A prototype implementation demonstrates the feasibility and usability of the approach using Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) and Semantic Web standards. [Termes IGN] réalité augmentéeRésumé : (Auteur) A Smart City relies on six key factors: Smart Governance, Smart People, Smart Economy, Smart Environment, Smart Living and Smart Mobility. This paper focuses on Smart Mobility by improving one of its key components: positioning. We developed and deployed a novel indoor positioning system (IPS) that is combined with an outdoor positioning system to support seamless indoor and outdoor navigation and wayfinding. The positioning system is implemented as a service in our broader cartography-based smart university platform, called SmartUJI, which centralizes access to a diverse collection of campus information and provides basic and complex services for the Universitat Jaume I (Spain), which serves as surrogate of a small city. Using our IPS and based on the SmartUJI services, we developed, deployed and evaluated two end-user mobile applications: the SmartUJI APP that allows users to obtain map-based information about the different facilities of the campus, and the SmartUJI AR that allows users to interact with the campus through an augmented reality interface. Students, university staff and visitors who tested the applications reported their usefulness in locating university facilities and generally improving spatial orientation. [Termes IGN] modélisation 3D du bâti BIMRésumé : (Auteur) The purpose of this paper is to study the benefits of building information modelling (BIM) and determine the barriers to achieving these benefits. The use of BIM is not yet at a level where known benefits can be realised. This study consists of a literature review of the benefits of BIM and an empirical review, where focus group interviews were used to discover barriers. The major benefits of BIM include cost savings, better information flow, shorter project timelines and better quality. The greatest barrier is the lack of practical guidelines for BIM implementation in projects. Successful BIM implementation requires technology, people and processes to be in proper shape. Earlier studies identify the theoretical requirements of BIM implementation, but practical solutions are still not at an adequate level. [Termes IGN] simple différenceRésumé : (auteur) We develop a new integrated navigation system, which integrates GPS precise point positioning (PPP) with low-cost micro-electro-mechanical sensors (MEMS) inertial system, for precise positioning applications. Currently, most common GPS PPP techniques employ undifferenced ionosphere-free (IF) linear combination. In this work, both undifferenced and between-satellite single-difference (BSSD) IF linear combinations of pseudorange and carrier measurements are considered. IGS precise orbital and clock products are used to correct for satellite orbit and clock errors. Rigorous models are used to account for tropospheric delay, ocean loading, earth tide, carrier phase windup, relativity and satellite antenna phase-center variations. To integrate GPS PPP and MEMS-based inertial systems, the process and measurement models are developed. Tightly coupled mechanization is adopted, which is carried out in the raw measurements domain. Extended Kalman filter is developed to merge the corrected GPS satellite difference observations and inertial measurements and estimate inertial measurements biases and errors. A atlab-based computer program is developed to carry out the tightly coupled integration. The performance of the proposed integrated system is analyzed using a real test situation. It is shown that decimeter-level positioning accuracy is achievable with both undifferenced and BSSD integrated systems. However, in general, better positioning accuracy is obtained with BSSD integrated system.
