[Termes IGN] résolution d'ambiguïtéRésumé : (Auteur)Although the computational burden of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) data processing is nowadays already a big challenge, especially for huge networks, integrated processing of denser networks with data of multi-GNSS and multi-frequency is desired in the expectation of more accurate and reliable products. Based on the concept of carrier range, in this study, the precise point positioning with integer ambiguity resolution is engaged to obtain the integer ambiguities for converting carrier phases to carrier ranges. With such carrier ranges and pseudo-ranges, rigorous integrated processing is realized computational efficiently for the orbit and clock estimation using massive networks. The strategy is validated in terms of computational efficiency and product quality using data of the IGS network with about 460 stations. The experimental validation shows that the computation time of the new strategy increases gradually with the number of stations. It takes about 14 min for precise orbit and clock determination with 460 stations, while the current strategy needs about 82 min. The overlapping orbit RMS is reduced from 27.6 mm with 100 stations to 24.8 mm using the proposed strategy, and the RMS could be further reduced to 23.2 mm by including all 460 stations. Therefore, the new strategy could be applied to massive networks of multi-GNSS and multi-frequency receivers and possibly to achieve GNSS data products of higher quality. [Termes IGN] longueur d'ondeRésumé : (Auteur) This paper presents a new variational gradient-based fusion method for visible and short-wave infrared (swm) imagery. The proposed method enables spatial enhancement and dehazing of visible imagery. Integrating gradients from SWIR imagery into visible imagery produces a single image with true color and sharp gradients. A constraint based on band correlation is included to improve the enhancement and implement dehazing. The band correlation is according to the quantitative relationship between the wavelength and the atmospheric effect caused by Rayleigh scattering. In this study, both clear and hazy Landsat ETM+ images are used in the experiments. By visual assessment, the gradient of the fused image is more salient than that of the original image, and the true color is well preserved. With the inclusion of the band correlation constraint, the proposed fusion method yields almost haze-free results. Quantitatively, the Metric Q of the fused images is significantly higher than that of the original images; the largest increase of the Metric Q in the experimental results is from 0.0114 to 0.0611. Moreover, for the results of the proposed method, the Metric Q increase in the visible bands declines from blue band to red band. [Termes IGN] réflectance végétaleRésumé : (Auteur) A new multi-wavelength canopy LiDAR (MWCL) system intended for the remote sensing of vegetation reflection was designed and its measurement performance was investigated. The system operates with four lasers of different wavelengths chosen according to nitrogen stresses that induce changes in the optical properties and spectral reflectance of rice leaves. The optical design and instrumentation are described in this paper as well as a discussion on system calibration. The MWCL system was demonstrated to possess a high capability of recording the physiology of the canopy, which is not possible when solely employing a traditional single-wavelength LiDAR. [Termes IGN] reconstruction 3D du bâtiRésumé : (auteur) This chapter considers applications that aims to recognize shapes starting from a dictionary or a library. The chapter describes a model that represents waveforms acquired with LIDAR systems using a sum of parametric functions where the most suited function is chosen, from a given library, for each mode of the LIDAR waveform. It proposes a method based on marked point processes that is detailed in [MAL 10]. The chapter presents an algorithm for reconstructing buildings in 3D. [Termes IGN] télémétrie laser aéroportéRésumé : (Auteur) Small footprint, full waveform airborne laser scanning provides the opportunity to derive high-resolution geometric and physical information simultaneously from a single scanner system. This study evaluates the influence of various factors on the shape of the returned waveform and investigates the possibility of improving terrain classification by applying waveform-derived information. The factors discussed are surface roughness, slope angle, scan angle, amplitude, and footprint size. It is statistically demonstrated that roughness is the most significant factor affecting pulse width, and that, over relatively smooth surfaces, there is no significant variation in pulse width behavior resulting from different footprint sizes. Pulse width also exhibits a relatively stable behavior when amplitude, range distance, or scan angle vary substantially. The overall accuracy of classification achieved by applying pulse width information over all the different land-cover types examined in this study (including scrub, hillside, single trees, and forest areas) was greater than 85 percent, with > 94 percent achieved for open vegetation areas. Physical surface information provided by small footprint waveform data is considered to be at the microscale, therefore it is recommended to combine such information with geometry (e.g., filtering algorithms) for the optimal identification of terrain points.
