[Termes IGN] valeur aberranteRésumé : (auteur) In this study, the observation model of Kalman Filter (KF) is extended to an errors-in-variables (EIV) model because the observations may exist in the design matrix of the observation model. Then, a robust total least squares method (RTLS) is introduced into the KF, and a robust total Kalman filter (RTKF) algorithm is derived. The RTKF is a simple, flexible and effective algorithm. It is simple because its computational formulae are similar to the computational formulae of a standard KF; it is flexible because it can be used in a wide range of applications; it is effective because the influence of outliers on estimated results is weakened. Finally, the simulated example of the indoor location and the empirical example of pseudorange differential positioning are used to demonstrate the performance of the RTKF algorithm. The results prove the validity, robustness, and reliability of the RTKF in dealing with the outliers that exist in both observation vector and design matrix of the EIV model. Furthermore, the results of the empirical example show that the RTKF improves the precision of a pseudorange differential positioning compared with KF and robust Kalman filter (RKF) algorithms regardless the observation model has outliers or not in this empirical example. [Termes IGN] TurquieRésumé : (auteur)Civil engineering structures (e.g., bridges, dams) are exposed to deformation under the influence of various factors such as water level changes, landslides, tectonic phenomena, etc. These deformations must be periodically monitored. Various deformation analysis approaches have been developed to describe the behaviour of a structure or natural process. The most significant task in deformation analysis is to correctly classify whether the points are stable or unstable. In this study, various robust weight functions for determination of stable/unstable points were applied to the Deriner Dam using GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) data measured over four different periods. The robust weight functions examined included the Andrews, Beaton−Tukey, Cauchy, Danish, Fair, German−McClure, Hampel, Huber, L1, and L1−L2. Test results were evaluated, and the performances of the different deformation analysis methods were determined. It was concluded that the horizontal deformations based on GNSS data determined by these robust weight functions were in good agreement with each other, except for the L1−L2. The results of all approaches were also compared with the results of the θ2–Criteria method. According to the results obtained, although the θ2–Criteria and the robust methods yielded nearly similar results, the results of the θ2–Criteria method were thought to be more reliable. [Termes IGN] pollution acoustiqueRésumé : (auteur) Sensor instability, dark currents, and other factors often cause stripe noise corruption in hyperspectral remote sensing images and severely limit their application in practical purposes. Previous studies have proposed numerous destriping algorithms that have yielded impressive results. Although most destriping algorithms are based on the premise of additive noise, a few studies have focused directly on multiplicative stripe noise. This article fully analyzes the characteristics of the stripe noise of OHS-01 images and proposes a multiplicative stripe noise removal method. Specifically, stripe noise is tackled by performing radiometric normalization of different columns in the image. First, the relative gain coefficients of adjacent columns are separated based on prior knowledge. Second, the local relative intensity correspondence of the image columns are established by means of intensity propagation, intensity connection, and so on. Finally, the above-mentioned process is iterated in multiscale space, and the accumulated gain correction coefficient maps were used to correct the radiation of the original image. The results of extensive experiments on simulated and real remote sensing image data demonstrate that the proposed method can, in most cases, yield desirable results. In certain cases, the results are even better, visually, and quantitatively, than those obtained using classical algorithms. Moreover, the proposed method has high robustness and efficiency. Thus, it can conform to the requirements of engineering applications. [Termes IGN] trajet multipleRésumé : (auteur) The proper choice of stochastic model is of great importance to global navigation satellite system (GNSS) data processing. Whereas extensive investigations into stochastic modeling are mainly based on the relative (or differential) method employing zero and/or short baselines, this work proposes an absolute method that relies upon a stand-alone receiver and works by applying the least-squares variance component estimation to the geometry-free functional model, thus facilitating the characterization of stochastic properties of multi-frequency GNSS observables at the undifferenced level. In developing the absolute method, special care has been taken of the code multipath effects by introducing ambiguity-like parameters to the code observation equations. By means of both the relative and absolute methods, we characterize the precision, cross and time correlation of the code and phase observables of two newly emerging constellations, namely the Chinese BDS and the European Galileo, collected by a variety of receivers of different types at multiple frequencies. Our first finding is that so far as the precision is concerned, the absolute method yields nearly the same numerical values as those derived by the zero-baseline-based relative method. However, the two methods give contradictory results with regard to the cross correlation, which is found (not) to occur between BDS phase observables when use has been made of the relative (absolute) method. Our explanation to this discrepancy is that the cross correlation found in the relative method originates from the parts (antenna, cable, low noise amplifier) shared by two receivers creating a zero baseline. The time correlation is only of significance when the multipath effects are present, as is the case with the short-baseline-based relative method; this correlation turns out to be largely weaker (or ideally absent) in the absolute (or zero-baseline-based relative) method. Moreover, with the absolute method, the stochastic properties determined for two receivers of the same type but subject to different multipath effects are virtually the same. We take this as a convincing evidence that the absolute method is robust against multipath effects. Hence, the absolute method proposed in the present work represents a promising complement to the relative method and appears to be particularly beneficial to GNSS positioning, navigation and timing technologies based on the undifferenced observables, typically the precise point positioning.
