[Termes IGN] teneur verticale totale en électronsRésumé : (auteur) In this study, we propose a regional ionospheric model (RIM) based on both of the GPS-only and the combined GPS/BeiDou observations for single-frequency precise point positioning (SF-PPP) users in Europe. GPS/BeiDou observations from 16 reference stations are processed in the zero-difference mode. A least-squares algorithm is developed to determine the vertical total electron content (VTEC) bi-linear function parameters for a 15-minute time interval. The Kriging interpolation method is used to estimate the VTEC values at a 1 °×1 ° grid. The resulting RIMs are validated for PPP applications using GNSS observations from another set of stations. The SF-PPP accuracy and convergence time obtained through the proposed RIMs are computed and compared with those obtained through the international GNSS service global ionospheric maps (IGS-GIM). The results show that the RIMs speed up the convergence time and enhance the overall positioning accuracy in comparison with the IGS-GIM model, particularly the combined GPS/BeiDou-based model. [Termes IGN] positionnement par GNSSRésumé : (auteur) Mixed integer–real least squares (MIRLS) estimation still has two open scientific problems, i.e., the validation of results and computational efficiency for a large number of satellites. This paper presents and discusses a non-conventional approach to MIRLS estimation, which belongs to the ambiguity function method (AFM) class. Because the solution is searched for in the constant three-dimensional coordinate domain instead of the n-dimensional ambiguity domain, the computational efficiency does not depend as much on the number of satellites as it does in conventional MIRLS estimation. Simple numerical pretests have shown that the reliability and precision of results from the presented approach and the conventional MIRLS estimation are exactly the same. Hence, the presented approach, contrary to AFM, may be treated as MIRLS estimation. Furthermore, the presented approach is a few hundred times faster than AFM and may be considered in (near) real-time GNSS positioning. In light of the above, the new field of research on MIRLS estimation may be opened. [Termes IGN] résolution d'ambiguïtéRésumé : (auteur) The undifferenced ambiguity resolution has been proved to be an effective method to shorten the initialization of precise point positioning (PPP) solution and improve the positioning accuracy. Several techniques were proposed for undifferenced ambiguity resolution with GPS observations. However, for BeiDou navigation satellite system (BDS), the satellite-induced variation in pseudorange observation changes the characteristics of Melbourne-Wűbbena (MW) combination observation, which leads to unacceptably low fixing rate of undifferenced ambiguity. Besides, the characteristics of satellite-induced variations in BDS observations vary with orbit type of satellite, which should be considered in correction effort. In this paper, the BDS fractional cycle biases (FCBs) are estimated with least-squares estimation method using the float undifferenced ambiguity collected from the network of reference stations. Based on the analysis of weekly stability of widelane FCBs and the distribution of fractional ambiguity parts, it is proven that the satellite-induced variation correction is necessary for the FCB estimation for IGSO and MEO satellites. Contaminated by relatively large orbit error, the ambiguities of GEO satellites should be skipped for ambiguity resolution attempt. Resolving BDS ambiguities in BDS/GPS combined PPP could significantly shorten the time needed for the first correct ambiguity resolution (FCAR). The experiment results of static PPP demonstrate that 90.6% of all sessions accomplish FCAR within 1350 s with only GPS observations. Meanwhile, by adding BDS ambiguities to the subset of ambiguity resolution, 91.9% of all sessions accomplish FCAR with only 870 s. Unfortunately, more iteration is required for obtaining the weighted total least-squares (WTLS) solution of the partial EIV model with above two formulae. Consequently, those methods are not proper for larger data problem in terms of computational efficiency. To circumvent this difficulty, a new formula and the fast algorithm are proposed based on the Lagrange extreme value method. Through some numerical examples with coordinate transformation, it is illustrated that the new developed method is an effective strategy to conduct the WTLS adjustment for the partial EIV model. The computational efficiency is significantly improved at least 80%. [Termes IGN] transformation de coordonnéesRésumé : (Auteur) This paper presents a universal model of weighted coordinate transformation, i.e. transformation considering the errors of coordinates in both coordinate systems. It is intrinsically one of the typical examples of ‘error-in-variables’ (EIV) models. The proposed method of LS theory application on weighted coordinate transformation does not impose any constraints on the form of functional relationship among stochastic variables. Since the basic idea is to generalise Gauss–Markov model (GMM) by introduction of so-called ‘total residuals’, the proposed procedure is named ‘Generalised Gauss–Markov model’. Formulation of expressions for estimation of unknown transformation parameters is theoretically confirmed using the Gauss–Helmert model (GHM) and three different modifications of the GMM. The proposed procedure is in its essence a strict solution to total least-squares (unweighted) and weighted total least-squares problem in coordinate transformation. This thesis is experimentally confirmed by comparison of its results with those found in four characteristic examples from the literature.
