Nevertheless, no comprehensive analysis of the genuine relevance of each data source has been performed so far: existing strategies are limited to a single spatial and spectral resolution. This paper investigates which is the optimal combination of geospatial optical images and lidar point clouds. A supervised semantic segmentation framework is fed with various sources (multispectral satellite and airborne images, hyperspectral airborne images, low, medium and high density lidar point clouds), ablation cases are defined, and the discrimination performance of several fusion schemes is assessed under a challenging mountainous area in France. [Termes IGN] montagneRésumé : (Auteur) It is well known that the success in precise determinations of the gravimetric geoid height (N) and the orthometric height (H) rely on the knowledge of the topographic mass distribution. We show that the residual topographic bias due to an imprecise information on the topographic density is practically the same for N and H, but with opposite signs. This result is demonstrated both for the Helmert orthometric height and for a more precise orthometric height derived by analytical continuation of the external geopotential to the geoid. This result leads to the conclusion that precise gravimetric geoid heights cannot be validated by GNSS-levelling geoid heights in mountainous regions for the errors caused by the incorrect modelling of the topographic mass distribution, because this uncertainty is hidden in the difference between the two geoid estimators. // This paper proposes a methodology for transforming a relative position description expressed in an indirect repository into an absolute position in a direct repository. This problem requires the formalization of relative location elements, here in the form of a triplet model, which is used as a basis for the transformation from relative to absolute position and the questioning on how the imperfection of the natural language in the modeling process can be taken into account. We propose to use fuzzy spatial objects and we will compare their implementations to identify the most appropriate approach to our context. [Termes IGN] villeRésumé : (Auteur) Since it was first described about two centuries ago and due to its adverse impacts on urban ecological environment and the overall livability of cities, the urban heat island (UHI) phenomenon has been, and still is, an important research topic across various fields of study. However, UHI studies on cities in mountain regions are still lacking. This study aims to contribute to this endeavor by monitoring and examining the formation of surface UHI (SUHI) in a tropical mountain city of Southeast Asia –Baguio City, the summer capital of the Philippines– using Landsat data (1987–2015). Based on mean surface temperature difference between impervious surface (IS) and green space (GS1), SUHI intensity (SUHII) in the study area increased from 2.7 °C in 1987 to 3.4 °C in 2015. Between an urban zone (>86% impervious) and a rural zone ( Numéro de notice : A2017-720 Affiliation des auteurs : non IGN Thématique : IMAGERIE Nature : Article nature-HAL : ArtAvecCL-RevueIntern DOI : 10.1016/j.isprsjprs.2017.09.008 En ligne : https://doi.org/10.1016/j.isprsjprs.2017.09.008 Format de la ressource électronique : URL article Permalink : https://documentation.ensg.eu/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=88405
