[Termes descripteurs IGN] temps de convergenceRésumé : (Auteur) New GNSS signals have significantly augmented positioning service and promoted algorithmic innovations such as rapid PPP convergence. With the emerging of multifrequency signals, it becomes essential to thoroughly explore the contribution of third frequency pseudorange and carrier phase toward PPP. In this study, we research the role of the third frequency observations on accelerating PPP convergence, commencing from both stochastic and functional models. We first constructed the stochastic model depending on the observation noise and then introduced two uncombined functional models with respect to different inter-frequency bias (IFB) estimation strategies. The double-differenced residuals based on a zero baseline were used to evaluate the signal noises, which were 0.09, 0.07, 0.11, 0.01 and 0.09 m for Galileo E1/E5a/E5b/E5/E6 pseudorange and 0.24, 0.31 and 0.05 m for BeiDou B1/B2/B3. Besides, carrier phase observations E5a/E5/E6/B1I/B3I shared a comparable signal noise of 0.002 m, while the signal noises of E1/E5b/B2I were 0.003 m. Both BeiDou-2/Galileo and Galileo-only float PPP were implemented based on the dataset collected from 25 stations, spanning 30 days. Triple-frequency Galileo PPP achieved convergence successfully in 19.9 min if observations were weighted according to observation precision, showing a comparable performance of dual-frequency PPP. Meanwhile, the convergence time of triple-frequency float PPP was further shortened to 19.2 min when satellite pair IFBs were eliminated by estimating a second satellite clock. While the improvement of triple-frequency float PPP was marginal, triple-frequency PPP-AR using signals E1/E5a/E6 shortened the initialization time of the dual-frequency counterpart by 38%. Moreover, the performance of triple-frequency PPP-AR kept almost unchanged after we excluded the third frequency pseudorange observations. We thus suggest that the contribution of the third frequency to PPP mainly rests on ambiguity resolution, favored by the additional carrier phase observations. [Termes descripteurs IGN] temps réelRésumé : (Auteur) For real-time precise orbit determination (POD) of low earth orbit (LEO) satellites, high-accuracy global navigation satellite system (GNSS) orbit and clock products are necessary in real time. Recently, the Japanese multi-GNSS advanced demonstration of orbit and clock analysis precise point positioning (PPP) service and the new generation of the Australian/New Zealand satellite-based augmentation system (SBAS)-aided PPP service provide free and precise GNSS products that are directly broadcast through the navigation and geostationary earth orbit satellites, respectively. With the high quality of both products shown in this study, a 3D accuracy of centimeters can be achieved in the post-processing mode for the reduced-dynamic orbits of small LEO satellites having a duty cycle down to 40% and at sub-dm to dm level for the kinematic orbits. The results show a promising future for high-accuracy real-time POD onboard LEO satellites benefiting from the precise free-of-charge PPP corrections broadcast by navigation systems or SBAS. The approach is based on constrained Kalman filter, and applied to BeiDou PPP in static, pseudo-kinematic, real kinematic modes. Both zero baseline and short baseline constrained PPP are verified in static mode, while a marine geodesy environment is designed to evaluate the performance in kinematic mode. The experiment results show that, compared to the PPP without constraint, the baseline constrained PPP can significantly improve the positional accuracy. Furthermore, the accuracy of baseline constrained static PPP can reach centimetre level, while the kinematic PPP can reach decimetre level. [Vedettes matières IGN] Traitement de données GNSSRésumé : (auteur) Long term GNSS observations provided by networks of the continuously operating reference stations (CORS) allow for determination of the global and local tectonic plate movements and seasonal variations. In recent years, PPP (Precise Point Positioning) technique has become increasingly popular and most likely in the future will replace relative positioning with CORS stations. In this paper, we discuss the difference of the velocity and seasonal component estimates of 25 Latvian CORS stations on the basis of daily PPP solutions from the Nevada Geodetic Laboratory and double-difference solutions from the Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformatics of the University of Latvia. Time series of each coordinate component for 9-year time period were determined by the usage of the Tsview software and seasonal existence of linear, annual, semi-annual factors and their uncertainties were determined. Breaks (e. g., antenna and receiver changes) were also taken into account. We then assessed the noise characteristics of these time series with the use of overlapping Hadamard variance (OHVAR). The result shows that OHVAR is computationally cheap, and the dominating power-law noise, including flicker and random walk. However Hadamard deviation of the PPP and double-difference solutions scatters differently for a whole year averaging time due to the different GNSS data strategies. [Termes descripteurs IGN] temps réelRésumé : (auteur) High-quality satellite orbits and clocks are necessary for multi-GNSS precise point positioning and timing. In undifferenced GNSS solutions, the quality of orbit and clock products significantly influences the resulting position accuracy; therefore, for precise positioning in real time, the corrections for orbits and clocks are generated and distributed to users. In this research, we assess the quality and the availability of real-time CNES orbits and clocks for GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou-2 separated by satellite blocks and types, as well as the product quality changes over time. We calculate the signal-in-space ranging error (SISRE) as the main orbit and clock quality indicator. Moreover, we employ independent orbit validation based on satellite laser ranging. We found that the most accurate orbits are currently available for GPS. However, Galileo utmost stable atomic clocks compensate for systematic errors in Galileo orbits. As a result, the SISRE for Galileo is lower than that for GPS, equaling 1.6 and 2.3 cm for Galileo and GPS, respectively. The GLONASS satellites, despite the high quality of their orbits, are characterized by poor quality of clocks, and together with BeiDou-2 in medium and geosynchronous inclined orbits, are characterized by SISRE of 4–6 cm. BeiDou-2 in geostationary orbits is characterized by large orbital errors and the lowest availability of real-time orbit and clock corrections due to a large number of satellite maneuvers. The quality of GNSS orbit and clock corrections changes over time and depends on satellite type, block, orbit characteristics, onboard atomic clock, and the sun elevation above the orbital plane.
