The bias related with carrier phase can be absorbed by ambiguities. However, the unequal code inter-frequency bias (cIFB) will degrade the accuracy of pseudorange observations, which will affect positioning accuracy and convergence of precise point positioning (PPP) when including GLONASS satellites. Based on observations made on un-differenced (UD) ionospheric-free combinations, GLONASS cIFB parameters are estimated as a constant to achieve GLONASS cIFB real-time self-calibration on a single station. A total of 23 stations, with different manufacturing backgrounds, are used to analyze the characteristics of GLONASS cIFB and its relationship with variable receiver hardware. The results show that there is an obvious common trend in cIFBs estimated using broadcast ephemeris for all of the different manufacturers, and there are unequal GLONASS inter-satellite cIFB that match brand manufacture. In addition, a particularly good consistency is found between self-calibrated receiver-dependent GLONASS cIFB and the IFB products of the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ). Via a comparative experiment, it is also found that the algorithm of cIFB real-time self-calibration not only corrects receiver-dependent cIFB, but can moreover eliminate satellite-dependent cIFB, providing more stable results and further improving global navigation satellite system (GNSS) point positioning accuracy. The root mean square (RMS) improvements of single GLONASS standard point positioning (SPP) reach up to 54.18 and 53.80% in horizontal and vertical direction, respectively. The study’s GLONASS cIFB self-estimation can realize good self-consistency between cIFB and stations, working to further promote convergence efficiency relative to GPS + GLONASS PPP. An average improvement percentage of 19.03% is observed, realizing a near-consistent accuracy with GPS + GLONASS fusion PPP. [Vedettes matières IGN] Traitement de données GNSSRésumé : (Auteur) The integration of different GNSS constellations offers considerable opportunities to improve Precise Point Positioning (PPP) performance. Being aware of the limited number of the alternatives that utilize the potential advantages of the multi-constellation and multi-frequency GNSS, we developed a MATLAB-based GNSS analysis software, named PPPH. PPPH is capable of processing GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou data, and forming their different combinations depending on user’s preference. Thanks to its user-friendly graphical interface, PPPH allows users to determine a variety of processing options and parameters. In addition to an output file including the estimated parameters for every single epoch, PPPH also presents several analyzing and plotting tools for evaluating the results, such as positioning error, tropospheric zenith total delay, receiver clock estimation, satellite number, dilution of precisions. On the other hand, we conducted experimental tests to both validate the performance of PPPH and assess the potential benefits of multi-GNSS on PPP. The results indicate that PPPH provides comparable PPP solution with the general standards and also contributes to the improvement of PPP performance with the integration of multi-GNSS. Consequently, we introduce a GNSS analysis software that is easy to use, has a robust performance and is open to progress with its modular structure. [Termes IGN] récepteur monofréquenceRésumé : (Auteur) We develop new single-frequency PPP models, which combine the observations of the current GNSS constellations, including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou. Four single-frequency GNSS PPP models are developed, namely, the undifferenced single-frequency GNSS PPP model, the undifferenced ionosphere-free (IF) code and phase model known as quasi-phase model, the between-satellite-single-difference model (BSSD) and the between-satellite-single-difference ionosphere-free (BSSDIF) model. The IGS final precise products are used to account for the orbital and clock errors. For both undifferenced and BSSD models, the IGS final global ionospheric maps (GIM) model is used to correct the ionospheric delay. The GNSS inter-system biases are treated as additional unknowns in the estimation process for the undifferenced models, while a loosely coupled technique is used for the BSSD models. Various GNSS combinations are considered in the assessment for each PPP model, including GPS/GLONASS, GPS/Galileo, GPS/BeiDou and quad-constellation GNSS observations. It is shown that the multi-GNSS observations enhance the PPP solution accuracy in comparison with the GPS-only solution. Furthermore, the use of IF-PPP technique enhances the positioning accuracy by 25, 20, 24, 20 and 19% compared with the GIM-based PPP model for the GPS-only, GPS/GLONASS, GPS/Galileo, GPS/BeiDou and quad-GNSS combinations, respectively, for 1 h of GNSS data processing. In addition, an average of 15% positioning accuracy improvement can be obtained when the BSSD techniques are used compared with the undifferenced techniques. However, for 6 h of processing, comparable positioning accuracy can be obtained from all four single-frequency models. [Termes IGN] précision du positionnementRésumé : (Auteur) To upgrade the positioning accuracy, re-initialization speed, and attitude determination performance of precise point positioning (PPP) in dynamic applications, we proposed a multi-sensor fusion system consisting of four global navigation satellite systems (GNSSs), namely GPS, BDS, Galileo, and GLONASS, several low-cost inertial sensors, and an odometer. The study shows that the performance of PPP in terms of continuity, reliability, stability, and re-initialization speed improves by such a multi-sensor fusion system. This manifests itself in a significantly increased accuracy. For position solutions, compared to un-aided PPP solutions, the improvements achieved using low-cost inertial navigation system (INS) are about 36.4, 38.7, and 31.3% in the north, east, and vertical components, respectively, and the improvement using odometer are about 1.58, 0.35, and 4.32% relative to the INS-aided PPP solutions. Moreover, using the odometer can provide more than 2.1, 1.4, and 50.6% attitude improvements for roll, pitch, and heading angles compared to the attitude solutions obtained from the INS-aided PPP system. Under GNSS outage conditions, the mean position improvements using the odometer are about 2.3, 1.8, and 8.7%, with maximum increases of 74.6, 74.7, and 28.3%, and the average attitude improvements are about 4.7, 5.4, and 3.3%, with maximum increases of 36.4, 31.7, and 28.9%, respectively. This means that the odometer can enhance the performance of PPP and PPP/INS integration in challenging dynamic conditions. [Termes IGN] stabilitéRésumé : (auteur) The availability of multiple signals from different Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) constellations provides opportunities for improving positioning accuracy and initial convergence time. With dual-frequency observations from the four constellations (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou), it is possible to investigate combined GNSS precise point positioning (PPP) accuracy and stability. The differences between GNSS systems result in inter-system biases (ISBs). We consider several ISB values such as GPS-GLONASS, GPS-Galileo, and GPS-BeiDou. These biases are compliant with key parameters defined in the multi-GNSS PPP processing. In this study, we present a unified PPP method that sets ISB values as fixed or constant. A comprehensive analysis that includes satellite visibility, position dilution of precision, position accuracy is performed to evaluate a unified PPP method with constrained cut-off elevation angles. Compared to the conventional PPP solutions, our approach shows more stable positioning at a constrained cut-off elevation angle of 50 degrees.
