[Termes IGN] WiFiRésumé : (auteur) Traditionally, the standards of spatial modeling are oriented to represent the quantitative information of space. However, in recent years an increasingly common challenge is appearing: flexibly and appropriately integrating quantitative information that goes beyond the purely geometric. This problem has been aggravated due to the success of new paradigms such as the Internet of Things. This adds an additional challenge to the representation of this information due to the need to represent characteristic information of the space from different points of view in a model, such as WiFi coverage, dangerous surroundings, etc. While this problem has already been addressed in indoor spaces with the IndoorGML standard, it remains to be solved in outdoor and indoor–outdoor spaces. We propose to take the advantages proposed in IndoorGML, such as cellular space or multi-layered space model representation, to outdoor spaces in order to create indoor–outdoor models that enable the integration of heterogeneous information that represents different aspects of space. We also propose an approach that gives more flexibility in spatial representation through the integration of standards such as OpenLocationCode for the division of space. Further, we suggest a procedure to enrich the resulting model through the information available in OpenStreetMap.
- les algorithmes cryptographiques qui renforcent la confidentialité des communications ;
- le mécanisme 802.1x, utilisé pour le contrôle d'accès aux réseaux Ethernet et Wi-Fi ;
- le mécanisme IPSec et les protocoles SSL, TLS et DTLS, qui fournissent des services de confidentialité et permettent d’établir une association de sécurité et une protection des données ;
- le protocole MPLS et les technologies associées servant au cloisonnement du réseau ;
- les pare-feux et les sondes de détection et de prévention d’intrusion IDPS, qui assurent la surveillance des données.Note de contenu :

[Termes IGN] WiFiRésumé : (Auteur) Now that everyone is getting accustomed to Location Based Service (LBS) such as layar, people start to wonder why they need to be outside to make use of these services. Then again, just about everybody has experienced at some point in time that their GPS devices do not work in tunnels or indoors. So how can we make LBS a success indoors as well as outdoors ? An overview of possibilities. [Termes IGN] WiFiRésumé : (Auteur) Solving the challenge of robust, reliable positioning in GNSS signal-challenged environments has long represented a kind of Holy Grail for product designers, systems integrators, and service providers. One promising approach is to combine GNSS with terrestrial systems that use existing wireless infrastructures. This article describes how Skyhook Wireless has succeeded with GPS and wireless local area networks - better known as Wi-Fi. As a result, its technology is now incorporated into a wide range of mobile “connected” platforms, including smart devices such as Apple’s iPhone and iPod. [Termes IGN] WiFiRésumé : (Auteur) A common assumption in GNSS receiver design is that the coherent integration time should be less than a few dozens of milliseconds. This makes perfect sense for today’s commercial receivers due to data bit transitions, oscillator jitter, and user dynamics. However, a coherent integration time of several seconds would mitigate three important indoor positioning problems: multipath, cross-correlation false locks, and the squaring loss. Extending the integration time has a price, typically requiring an assistance data link providing data bits (or the use of pilot signals), a stable oscillator, and a sophisticated GNSS/INS integration to compensate for non-linear user motion. This column describes how those issues have been solved and the resulting benefits as demonstrated by a recently built prototype with a sensitivity of around 1.5 dBHz , more than 10 decibels beyond the current state of the art.
