[Termes IGN] tomographieRésumé : (Auteur) The near real-time (NRT) high resolution water vapour distribution models can be constructed based on GNSS observations delivered from Ground Base Augmentation Systems (GBAS) and ground meteorological data. Since 2008 in the territory of Poland, a GBAS system called ASGEUPOS (Active Geodetic Network) has been operating. This paper addresses the problems concerning construction of the NRT model of water vapour distribution in the troposphere near Poland. The first section presents all available GNSS and ground meteorological stations in the area of Poland and neighbouring countries. In this section, data feeding scheme is discussed, together with timeline and time resolution. The high consistency between measured and interpolated temperature value is shown, whereas some discrepancy in the pressure is observed. In the second section, the NRT GNSS data processing strategy of ASG-EUPOS network is discussed. Preliminary results show fine alignment of the obtained Zenith Troposphere Delays (ZTDs) with reference data from European Permanent Network (EPN) processing center. The validation of NRT troposphere products against daily solution shows 15mm standard deviation of obtained ZTD differences. The last section presents the first results of 2-D water vapour distribution above the GNSS network and application of the tomographic model to 3-D distribution of water vapour in the atmosphere. The GNSS tomography model, working on the simulated data from numerical forecast model, shows high consistency with the reference data (by means of standard deviation 4mmkm1 or 4 ppm), however, noise analysis shows high solution sensitivity to errors in observations. The discrepancy for real data preliminary solution (measured as a mean standard deviation) between reference NWP data and tomography data was on the level of 9mmkm1 (or 9 ppm) in terms of wet refractivity. OT image reconstruction requires that source optical fibres and detector bundles (optodes) are brought into optical contact with the head and that the scalp surface geometry and optode positions for each individual infant are accurately known. The photogrammetric challenge is to create affordable tools that can be employed on newborn, and often severely ill, infants in an intensive care environment with a minimum level of intrusion. The paper describes the application and development of a system capable of mapping each individual infant head surface in the clinic and coordinating optode positions and orientations during optical tomography scans. The system developed includes a combination of stereo and multi-photo photogrammetry with a pair of digital SLR cameras and a laser dot projector. A bundle adjustment of the sequential stereo-image pairs is used to generate accurate head meshes that are combined with a photogrammetric network of images from a single camera to bring optodes mounted on a deformable helmet structure into a common coordinate system. This data can then be used in the 3D reconstruction of blood flow in the infant head. [Termes IGN] tomographieRésumé : (Auteur) This paper presents a new hardware-accelerated approach to the volumetric reconstruction of trees from photographs, based on the methods introduced by Reche-Martinez et al. The system applies an adapted computed tomography (CT) procedure that uses a set of oriented photographs with known interior and exterior camera parameters for creating a 3D model of a tree, while requiring considerably fewer images than standard CT. As tomographic reconstructions are complex tasks that result in time-consuming processes for high-resolution volumes, the hitherto existing methods are improved and modified to allow an ideal parallelisation of the computations on graphics hardware. The paper delivers a detailed insight into the complete process of the reconstruction, from the acquisition and preparation of the input data to the implementation of the final system on graphics processing hardware. [Termes IGN] voxelRésumé : (Auteur) The paper presents improved photogrammetric techniques for the determination of 3D flow velocity fields with the goal of optimising the performance, efficiency and flexibility of the method. This includes a multi-camera system configuration and calibration, as well as approaches for volumetric reconstruction. The result of the volumetric reconstruction process is a time-resolved, voxel-space representation of tracer particles marking a flow. Using a high-speed camera, a typical data-set consists of 1000 volumetric data-sets per second, each with 1000 x 1000 x 300 voxels. 3D tracking in the time-resolved voxel data is performed by 3D least squares tracking, determining 12 parameters of a 3D affine transformation between cuboids in successive voxel data-sets. Besides the cuboid translation, these parameters also include information on the shear tensor of each cuboid. The tomographic reconstruction methods and the cuboid tracking have been implemented and validated with both simulated and real data in an experimental set-up of a vortex ring in a water tank.
