[Termes IGN] récepteur GPSRésumé : (Auteur) The development and numerical values of the new absolute phase-center correction model for GPS receiver and satellite antennas, as adopted by the International GNSS (global navigation satellite systems) Service, are presented. Fixing absolute receiver antenna phase-center corrections to robot-based calibrations, the GeoForschungsZentrum Potsdam (GFZ) and the Technische Universität München reprocessed more than 10 years of GPS data in order to generate a consistent set of nadir-dependent phase-center variations (PCVs) and offsets in the z-direction pointing toward the Earth for all GPS satellites in orbit during that period. The agreement between the two solutions estimated by independent software packages is better than 1 mm for the PCVs and about 4 cm for the z-offsets. In addition, the long time-series facilitates the study of correlations of the satellite antenna corrections with several other parameters such as the global terrestrial scale or the orientation of the orbital planes with respect to the Sun. Finally, completely reprocessed GPS solutions using different phase-center correction models demonstrate the benefits from switching from relative to absolute antenna phase-center corrections. For example, tropospheric zenith delay biases between GPS and very long baseline interferometry (VLBI), as well as the drift of the terrestrial scale, are reduced and the GPS orbit consistency is improved. [Termes IGN] série temporelleRésumé : (auteur) We analyzed 1 year of DORIS data to estimate daily corrections to the mean locations of the satellite antenna phase centers. For each DORIS satellite, we looked for possible biases, discontinuities, trends or annual signals. All SPOT satellites show very similar patterns, which are characterized by a significant constant bias of about 20 mm in the cross-track direction as well as a clear annual signal of 5 mm amplitude. All DORIS satellites show a consistent systematic radial offset of 10–20 mm (equivalent to 1.5–3.0 ppb in the Terrestrial Reference Frame) when using ITRF2000 and less than 1 ppb using ITRF2005P. A discontinuity unexpectedly appears in DORIS radial antenna phase center offset of the ENVISAT satellite on October 12, 2004, at the time of a flight software switch. GPS phase center offsets were also computed for Jason and TOPEX/Poseidon and no significant differences were found between DORIS and GPS estimations. Finally, we applied these estimated DORIS satellite antenna phase center offsets to derive weekly time series of station coordinates in 2004. Results showed very small improvement for station coordinates and confirmed that DORIS scale could match ITRF2000 scale by modifying the vector between the center of mass of the satellite and the phase center of the on-board antenna with a proper radial offset. At this point, we do not recommend the adoption of any empirical DORIS satellite phase center offsets at this point. [Termes IGN] orbitographieRésumé : (auteur) Three currently operational radar altimeter satellites are equipped with the Doppler orbitography and radiopositioning integrated by satellite (DORIS) tracking system for precise orbit determination and two more are already foreseen. Any systematic errors in their computed orbits could possibly adversely affect scientific products used in climate change studies, such as sea level and ice sheet heights. DORIS residuals, which can be interpreted as a measure of orbit determination performance, often show systematic errors. We have therefore analyzed long time series of DORIS range-rate residuals in order to investigate possible systematic errors common to all DORIS analysis strategies and software packages, either on a satellite or on a station basis. In particular, the investigation has focused on global DORIS data of six satellites (TOPEX, Jason, Envisat and SPOT-2, -4 and -5) and station-specific data for Fairbanks, Easter Island and Syowa Base. Large measurement errors when crossing the South Atlantic Anomaly are easily detected in the DORIS residuals of Jason, while Envisat residuals show the most prominent evidence of multipath interference and the effect of a flight software update. Particularly, large errors were also found in low-elevation data. It is primarily based on source-code descriptions of the KSGSoft program developed by the author at the GFZ in Postdam. The theory and algorithms are revised and extended for a new development of a multiple functional GPS software. New concepts suchs as the unified GPS data processing method and ambiguity-ionospheric algorithm, as well as general ambiguity search criteria, are reported for the first time. Mathematically rigorous, the book begins with the basics of coordinate and time systems and satellite orbits, as well as GPS observables, and deals with topic such as physical influences, observation equation, adjustment and filtering, ambiguity resolution, data processing, kinematic positioning, and, the determination of perturbed orbits.
