[Termes IGN] trajectoire (véhicule non spatial)Résumé : (Auteur) More and more mobile objects are now equipped with sensors allowing real time monitoring of their movements. Nowadays, the data produced by these sensors can be stored in spatio-temporal databases. The main goal of this article is to perform a data mining on a huge quantity of mobile object's positions moving in an open space in order to deduce its behaviour. New tools must be defined to ease the detection of outliers. First of all, a zone graph is set up in order to define itineraries. Then, trajectories of mobile objects following the same itinerary are extracted from the spatio-temporal database and clustered. A statistical analysis on this set of trajectories lead to spatio-temporal patterns such as the main route and spatio-temporal channel followed by most of trajectories of the set. Using these patterns, unusual situations can be detected. Furthermore, a mobile object's behaviour can be defined by comparing its positions with these spatio-temporal patterns. In this article, this technique is applied to ships' movements in an open maritime area. Unusual behaviours such as being ahead of schedule or delayed or veering to the left or to the right of the main route are detected. A case study illustrates these processes based on ships' positions recorded during two years around the Brest area. This method can be extended to almost all kinds of mobile objects (pedestrians, aircrafts, hurricanes, ...) moving in an open area. [Termes IGN] système multi-agentsRésumé : (auteur) Agent-based simulation has demonstrated its usefulness for the modelling of complex systems. However, the simulation widely depends on the agent behaviour designing. In order to facilitate the definition of such behaviour, we propose an approach based on a participatory method: a domain expert directly enters his knowledge about entities in a specific environment. In this paper, we propose to formalise the agent behaviour by using a combination of production rules and of a multi-criteria decision making method. An experiment, carried out in the domain of ecological simulation, is presented. This first experiment shows promising results for our approach. [Termes IGN] réseau socialRésumé : (Auteur) Spatial-Data Sharing (SDS) is a crucial aspect of spatial-data infrastructures. This paper introduces Social-Network Analysis to research on SDS. By mapping out relationships among social actors using Social-Network Analysis, the collective properties of SDS in organizations can be investigated. Previous theoretical approaches have focused exclusively on individual behaviour. This paper attempts to expand this focus and applies Social-Network Analysis in a study of SDS in a project of the Egyptian Survey Authority. It concentrates on the emerging pattern of SDS between social actors in the organization and their perceptions and attitudes. Social-Network Analysis results show that SDS in this organization corresponds strongly to the existing hierarchy in the organization. Individual beliefs and perceptions of SDS show patterns that correspond strongly to the network structure. Project leaders are central in the SDS network and optimistic about SDS. Workers lower in the organization feel they have less control and express more concern about constraints regarding SDS than workers higher up in the organization. The paper shows that Social-Network Analysis can be a useful tool to study SDS and complements approaches to individual behaviour. Social-Network Analysis could be expanded to study inter-organizational SDS, could be implemented with digital technology, and could be refined to distinguish behaviour and networks according to different information types.
