[Termes IGN] temps réelRésumé : (auteur) This paper has studied the key issues about integration of GNSS and strong-motion records for real-time earthquake monitoring. The validations show that the consistence of the coordinate system must be considered firstly to exclude the system bias between GNSS and strong-motion. The GNSS sampling rate is suggested about 1–5 Hz, and we should give the strong-motion’s baseline shift with a larger dynamic noise as its variation is very swift. The initialization time of solving the baseline shift is less than one minute, and ambiguity resolution strategy is not greatly improved the solution. The data quality is very important for the solution, we advised to use multi-frequency and multi-system observations. These ideas give an important guide for real-time earthquake monitoring and early warning by the tight integration of GNSS and strong-motion records. [Termes IGN] teneur intégrée en vapeur d'eauRésumé : (auteur) Comprehensive measurements were carried out on the mountainous island of Corsica during the Hydrological cycle in the Mediterranean Experiment (HyMeX) field campaign in 2012. Using data from an operational GPS network, radiosondes and microwave radiometers, we studied the spatio-temporal variability of integrated water vapour (IWV) and convection-related parameters in the pre-convective environment over the island. The following spatial differences in the IWV evolution occurred frequently. In the interior of the island the IWV strongly increased around noon, while on the upstream coast only small variations were observed. We showed that a transport of water vapour with thermally driven circulations and the formation of elevated humidity layers due to advective venting caused the diurnal IWV variation over and downstream of the mountains. Spatial inhomogeneities in the pre-convective atmospheric conditions evolved and the knowledge of these turned out to be crucial to understanding the timing and location of isolated deep convection over the island. As India is a low-latitude region, more care has to be taken here to characterize the ionosphere due to irregularities and Equatorial Ionization Anomaly (EIA) conditions. Therefore, an appropriate method is required to diagnose the ionospheric variations during geomagnetic, solar and other disturbances. In this paper, the temporal ionospheric time delay variations were studied based on the Empirical Orthogonal Function (EOF) analysis and wavelet transforms (WT).These analyses were carried out with Total Electron Content (TEC) datasets obtained from three GNSS stations located in low-latitude regions. EOF analysis was performed on the TEC datasets, which were decomposed into a time series of orthogonal eigen values (or base functions) and associated coefficients. EOF base functions and their associated coefficients signify the hourly time variations and the day of the year variations. The results reveal that the first few EOFs represented the majority of TEC variability pertaining to the physical processes of the ionosphere. The accuracy of the EOF model was validated by the evaluation of observational TEC data with International Reference Ionosphere (IRI) 2012 models. The EOF model coefficients for each GNSS station showed a strong correlation with the IRI models and also described the correlation between the impacts of the level of geomagnetic activity on the ionosphere. The correlation coefficients for the first three EOFs were more than 0.95. The phase relationship of ionospheric TEC anomalies, with respect to the geomagnetic indices (Dst), were analyzed by wavelet transforms. [Termes IGN] vitesseRésumé : (auteur) GPS data in southern Sumatra, Indonesia, indicate crustal deformation associated to subduction zone and inland fault of Great Sumatran Fault (GSF). We analyze these deformation characteristics using campaign and continuous GPS data available in southern Sumatra from 2006–2014. After removing the effect of GSF in southern Sumatra and coseismic displacements of 2007 Bengkulu and 2012 Indian Ocean earthquake, we find that GPS sites experienced northwest-ward direction. These GPS velocities correspond to postseismic deformation of the 2007 Bengkulu earthquake and the 2012 Indian Ocean earthquake. We analyze strain using these velocities, and we find that postseismic strains in southern Sumatra are in the range of 0.8–20 nanostrain. [Termes IGN] précision des donnéesRésumé : (Auteur) The objective of research concerned verifying the accuracy of the location and shape of selected lakes presented on topographical maps from various periods, drawn up on different scales. The area of research covered lakes situated in North-Western Poland on the Międzychód-Sieraków Lakeland. An analysis was performed of vector maps available in both analogue and digital format. The scales of these studies range from 1:50 000 to 1:10 000. The source materials were current for the years 1907 through 2013. The shape and location of lakes have been verified directly by means of field measurements performed using the GPS technology with an accuracy class of RTK. An analysis was performed of the location and shape of five lakes. The analysed water regions were vectorised, and their vector images were used to determine quantitative features: the area and length of the shoreline. Information concerning the analysed lakes obtained from the maps was verified on the basis of direct field measurements performed using a GPS RTK receiver. Use was made of georeferential corrections provided by the NAVGEO service or a virtual reference station generated by the ASG EUPOS system. A compilation of cartographic and field data formed the basis for a comparison of the actual area and the length of the shoreline of the studied lakes. Cartographic analyses made it possible to single out the most reliable cartographic sources, which could be used for the purposes of hydrographical analyses. The course of shorelines shows the attached map.
