[Termes IGN] utilisateur civilRésumé : (auteur) A civil navigation signal is vulnerable to interference and tampering owing to its open interface and low signal power. We focus on navigation spoofing. First, using a piecewise function, we quantitatively analyze the effects of the navigation spoofing signal on the receiver tracking loop. For a phase-locked loop, the spoofing signal extends the pull-in range of the discriminator. The autocorrelation gain of the spoofing signal has a different effect on the slope of the discriminator, depending on whether the discriminator is related to the signal amplitude. For the delay-locked loop, taking the non-coherent early minus late power method as an example, the unlocking condition and interval are analyzed quantitatively using the spoofing amplitude gain and the initial phase cosine of the spoofing and authentic carriers. A carrier frequency difference between the spoofing signal and authentic signal causes a phase jump and attenuation of the amplitude gain. Second, in luring an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to a designated location, we assume a UAV model and provide a spoofing strategy. Experimental results show that it is feasible to lure a civilian quadrotor UAV to a designated location about 50 m from where the UAV believes it is located. [Termes IGN] tectoniqueRésumé : (auteur) Glacier flow and slope instabilities in Alpine mountain areas represent a hazard issue. Sentinel-1 satellites provide regular Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) acquisitions that are potentially useful to monitor these areas, but they can be affected by temporal decorrelation due to rapid changes in the surface. The application of interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) therefore seems difficult due to loss of coherence. On the other hand, Corner Reflectors (CR) can be used as coherent targets in SAR images for accurate displacement measurement thanks to their strong backscattering property and temporal stability. The use of CRs in multi-temporal InSAR analysis in Alpine mountain areas can thus be beneficial. In this study, we present a comparison between triangular and rectangular CRs, based on Radar Cross Section (RCS) measurements in an anechoic chamber and on long-term experiments over the Argentière glacier and the surrounding slopes and moraine. The visibility in both summer and winter of 10 CRs installed on the test site was investigated. As this area is exposed to heavy precipitation including snow falls, two perforated CRs were tested. The amplitude stability and the phase error of each CR were estimated. A precise tracking of two CRs installed at the glacier surface was also able to measure the displacement of the Argentière glacier, giving results close to previous GPS measurements. Furthermore, a Persistent Scatterer Interferometry (PSI) study was conducted, using the most stable CR as reference point to estimate slope instabilities, which led to the identification of an area corresponding to a tectonic fault called “Faille de l’angle”. The precise absolute locations of the CRs were successfully estimated and PS heights were compared with a LiDAR-based (Light Detection And Ranging) digital elevation model (DEM) and GPS measurements. [Termes IGN] station de référenceRésumé : (Auteur) Precise point positioning with integer ambiguity resolution requires precise knowledge of satellite position, clock and phase bias corrections. In this paper, a method for the estimation of these parameters with a global network of reference stations is presented. The method processes uncombined and undifferenced measurements of an arbitrary number of frequencies such that the obtained satellite position, clock and bias corrections can be used for any type of differenced and/or combined measurements. We perform a clustering of reference stations. The clustering enables a common satellite visibility within each cluster and an efficient fixing of the double difference ambiguities within each cluster. Additionally, the double difference ambiguities between the reference stations of different clusters are fixed. We use an integer decorrelation for ambiguity fixing in dense global networks. The performance of the proposed method is analysed with both simulated Galileo measurements on E1 and E5a and real GPS measurements of the IGS network. We defined 16 clusters and obtained satellite position, clock and phase bias corrections with a precision of better than 2 cm. [Termes IGN] résolution d'ambiguïtéRésumé : (Auteur) GLONASS double-differenced (DD) ambiguity resolution is hindered by the inter-frequency bias (IFB) in GLONASS observation. We propose a new algorithm for IFB rate estimation to solve this problem. Although the wavelength of the widelane observation is several times that of the L1 observation, their IFB errors are similar in units of meters. Based on this property, the new algorithm can restrict the IFB effect on widelane observation within 0.5 cycles, which means the GLONASS widelane DD ambiguity can be accurately fixed. With the widelane integer ambiguity and phase observation, the IFB rate can be estimated using single-epoch measurements, called the single-epoch IFB rate estimation algorithm, or using the Kalman filter to process all data, called the Kalman filter-based IFB rate estimation algorithm. Due to insufficient accuracy of the IFB rate estimated from widelane observations, the IFB rate has to be further refined with L1 and L2 observations. A new reference satellite selection method is proposed to serve the IFB rate estimation. The experiment results show that the IFB rates on L1 and L2 bands are different, that an accurate IFB rate will help us to obtain more fixed solutions at places with serious occlusion, that the single-epoch IFB rate estimation algorithm can meet the requirements for real-time kinematic positioning with only 8% extra computational time, and that the Kalman filter-based IFB rate estimation algorithm is a satisfactory option for high-accuracy GLONASS positioning. [Termes IGN] variation temporelleRésumé : (auteur) As a first step towards studying the ionosphere with the global navigation satellite system (GNSS), leveling the phase to the code geometry-free observations on an arc-by-arc basis yields the ionospheric observables, interpreted as a combination of slant total electron content along with satellite and receiver differential code biases (DCB). The leveling errors in the ionospheric observables may arise during this procedure, which, according to previous studies by other researchers, are due to the combined effects of the code multipath and the intra-day variability in the receiver DCB. In this paper we further identify the short-term temporal variations of receiver differential phase biases (DPB) as another possible cause of leveling errors. Our investigation starts by the development of a method to epoch-wise estimate between-receiver DPB (BR-DPB) employing (inter-receiver) single-differenced, phase-only GNSS observations collected from a pair of receivers creating a zero or short baseline. The key issue for this method is to get rid of the possible discontinuities in the epoch-wise BR-DPB estimates, occurring when satellite assigned as pivot changes. Our numerical tests, carried out using Global Positioning System (GPS, US GNSS) and BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS, Chinese GNSS) observations sampled every 30 s by a dedicatedly selected set of zero and short baselines, suggest two major findings. First, epoch-wise BR-DPB estimates can exhibit remarkable variability over a rather short period of time (e.g. 6 cm over 3 h), thus significant from a statistical point of view. Second, a dominant factor driving this variability is the changes of ambient temperature, instead of the un-modelled phase multipath.
