[Termes IGN] réseau géodésiqueRésumé : (Auteur) Nowadays, GPS receivers are very reliable because of their good accuracy and precision; however, uncertainty is also inherent in geospatial data. Quality of GPS measurements can be influenced by atmospheric disturbances, multipathing, synchronization of clocks, satellite geometry, geographical features of the observed region, low broadcasting coverage, inadequate transmitting formats, or human or instrumental unknown errors. Assuming that the scenario and technical conditions that can influence the quality of GPS measurements are optimal, that functional and stochastic models that process the signals to a geodetic measurement are correct, and that all the GPS observables are taken in the same conditions, it is still possible to estimate the positional errors as the difference between the real coordinates and those measured by the GPS. In this paper, three spatial linear mixed models, one for each axis, are used for modelling real-time kinematic GPS accuracy and precision, of a multiple-reference-station network in dual-frequency with carrier phase measurements. Along the paper, the proposed models provide an estimate of the “accuracy” in terms of bias defined as the difference between real coordinates and measured coordinates after being processed and “precision” through the standard errors of the estimated differences. This is done using ten different transmitting formats. Mapping and quantifying these differences can be interesting for users and GPS professionals. The performance of these models is illustrated by mapping positional error estimates within the whole region of Navarre, Spain. Sampled data have been taken in 54 out of the 211 geodetic vertex points of this region. Maps show interesting error patterns depending on transmitting formats, the different axes, and the geographical characteristics of the region. Higher differences are found in regions with bad broadcasting coverage, due to the presence of mountains and high degree of humidity. [Termes IGN] modèle de géopotentielRésumé : (Auteur) The time-wise and space-wise approaches are generally applied to data processing and error analysis for satellite gravimetry missions. But both the approaches, which are based on least-squares method, address the whole effect of measurement errors and estimate the resolution of gravity field models mainly from a numerical point of view. Moreover, requirement for higher accuracy and resolution gravity field models could make the computation more difficult, and serious numerical instabilities arise. A direct analytical expression between power spectral density of the satellite gravimetry measurements and spherical harmonic coefficients of the Earth’s gravity model is derived based on two-dimensional Fourier description. This method provides a physical insight into the relation between mission parameters, instrument parameters and gravity field parameters. In contrast, the least-squares method is mainly based on a mathematical viewpoint. By taking advantage of the analytical expression, it is efficient and distinct for parameter estimation and error analysis of missions. It is easy to obtain from the analytical relationship that the low-frequency noise affects the gravity field recovery in all degrees for the instance of satellite gradiometer recovery mission, which agrees with the work before by the numerical error analysis methods Numéro de notice : A2013-252 Affiliation des auteurs : non IGN Thématique : POSITIONNEMENT Nature : Article nature-HAL : ArtAvecCL-RevueIntern DOI : 10.1007/s00190-013-0615-6 Date de publication en ligne : 03/02/2013 En ligne : https://doi.org/10.1007/s00190-013-0615-6 Format de la ressource électronique : URL article Permalink : https://documentation.ensg.eu/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=32390

Note de contenu : Introduction

[Termes IGN] station GPSRésumé : (Auteur) Large-scale crustal deformation over a wide area of eastern Japan was detected by GEONET, Japan's dense Global Positioning System (GPS) network, following the 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake occurred on March 11, 2011. Since it was assumed that coordinates of the control points for public surveys, such as GEONET stations, triangulation stations and leveling bench marks, in a wide area were greatly changed and could hardly maintain consistency between nearby stations, the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (GSI) stopped providing ‘Survey Results’ of them, which were the coordinates for survey use, and announced it publicly on March 14, 2011. In order to promote various public restoration programs in the affected area, it was strongly required to revise the Survey Results in an urgent manner. On the other hand, because large postseismic deformation had continued widely after the event, it was concerned that even if the Survey Results were updated immediately, they would become ineffective in a short time. Therefore GSI examined the optimal timing to calculate their new coordinates by predicting the amount of future postseismic movement based on the observation data of GEONET stations. Eventually, the new Survey Results of GEONET stations were published on May 31, 2011 and those of triangulation stations and leveling bench marks on October 31, 2011 respectively. In this paper, we report the revision process of the Survey Results after the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake.
