Note de contenu : 1- Introduction

[Termes IGN] station permanenteRésumé : (Auteur) A large number of continuously operating reference station (CORS) networks have been established around the world to support various high-precision navigation and positioning applications. However, the presence of significant tropospheric delays makes rapid ambiguity recovery for long inter-station baselines of network real-time kinematic (RTK) systems a major challenge. Since tropospheric delays are strongly temporally correlated over short periods, we propose an undifferenced (UD) zenith tropospheric prediction model to effectively correct tropospheric errors on the subsequent epoch measurements. Using 2-h sessions of the independent baselines in a CORS network, the ambiguities are easily and reliably resolved with the conventional ionospheric-free combination method. The derived double-differenced (DD), ionospheric-free residuals are then converted to UD residuals for each satellite and all stations. The UD residuals and the corresponding wet coefficients of each satellite are used to construct the zenith tropospheric model. The model is reconstructed every 5 min for each station. The slant tropospheric errors of observations within this period can be predicted using the established models. Seven independent baselines with an average length of 97 km are used to test the ambiguity recovery performance of the proposed method. The experimental results show that the proposed tropospheric prediction model can efficiently reduce the effects of slant tropospheric errors and improve the float solution of ambiguities. The average initialization time with the proposed method is less than 111.5 s, which is a 45% improvement with respect to the conventional approach. The proposed method was shown to be effective for fast ambiguity recovery of long-range baselines between reference stations. [Termes IGN] station de référenceRésumé : (auteur) The performance of the EGNOS System was analyzed in terms of avialability through the folowing variables, protection level HPL and VPL ( Horizontal and Vertical Protection Level) based on alarm limit (HAL Horizontal or VAL Vertical Alarm Limit) and ionospheric error analysis. To carry out our study, we opted for five airports namely: Tamarasset, Ghardaïa, Laghouat, Ouargla and Timimoun, these sites have been added to the existed networks of the RIMS (Ranging and Integrity Monitoring Stations) stations of the EGNOS System. InAlgeria, we found that EGNOS provides good coverage in the north, however headind to the south this coverage is decreasing. Tha addition of one station in the center of Algeria should allow agood service of the system and at the same time should extend its coverage area. The results simulation of the Ghardaïa station show that in Algeria, the performance of EGNOS system is better, espacially in the area between {0°, 5°} in longitude and 30° in latitude. [Termes IGN] station de référenceRésumé : (Auteur) Precise point positioning with integer ambiguity resolution requires precise knowledge of satellite position, clock and phase bias corrections. In this paper, a method for the estimation of these parameters with a global network of reference stations is presented. The method processes uncombined and undifferenced measurements of an arbitrary number of frequencies such that the obtained satellite position, clock and bias corrections can be used for any type of differenced and/or combined measurements. We perform a clustering of reference stations. The clustering enables a common satellite visibility within each cluster and an efficient fixing of the double difference ambiguities within each cluster. Additionally, the double difference ambiguities between the reference stations of different clusters are fixed. We use an integer decorrelation for ambiguity fixing in dense global networks. The performance of the proposed method is analysed with both simulated Galileo measurements on E1 and E5a and real GPS measurements of the IGS network. We defined 16 clusters and obtained satellite position, clock and phase bias corrections with a precision of better than 2 cm. [Termes IGN] station permanenteRésumé : (Auteur) As one of the major contributors to the realisation of the International Terrestrial Reference System (ITRS), the Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) are prone to suffer from irregularities and discontinuities in time series. While often associated with hardware/software changes and the influence of the local environment, these discrepancies constitute a major threat for ITRS realisations. Co-located GNSS at fundamental sites, with two or more available instruments, provide the opportunity to mitigate their influence while improving the accuracy of estimated positions by examining data breaks, local biases, deformations, time-dependent variations and the comparison of GNSS baselines with existing local tie measurements. With the use of co-located GNSS data from a subset sites of the International GNSS Service network, this paper discusses a global multi-year analysis with the aim of delivering homogeneous time series of coordinates to analyse system-specific error sources in the local baselines. Results based on the comparison of different GNSS-based solutions with the local survey ties show discrepancies of up to 10 mm despite GNSS coordinate repeatabilities at the sub-mm level. The discrepancies are especially large for the solutions using the ionosphere-free linear combination and estimating tropospheric zenith delays, thus corresponding to the processing strategy used for global solutions. Snow on the antennas causes further problems and seasonal variations of the station coordinates. These demonstrate the need for a permanent high-quality monitoring of the effects present in the short GNSS baselines at fundamental sites.
