Traditional subpixel mapping algorithms only utilize the low-resolution image obtained by the classification image downsampling and do not consider the spectral unmixing error, which is difficult to account for in real applications. In this paper, to improve the accuracy of the subpixel mapping, an adaptive subpixel mapping method based on a maximum a posteriori (MAP) model and a winner-take-all class determination strategy, namely, AMCDSM, is proposed for hyperspectral remote sensing imagery. In AMCDSM, to better simulate a real remote sensing scene, the low-resolution abundance images are obtained by the spectral unmixing method from the downsampled original image or real low-resolution images. The MAP model is extended by considering the spatial prior models (Laplacian, total variation (TV), and bilateral TV) to obtain the high-resolution subpixel distribution map. To avoid the setting of the regularization parameter, an adaptive parameter selection method is designed to acquire the optimal subpixel mapping results. In addition, in AMCDSM, to take into account the spectral unmixing error in real applications, a winner-take-all strategy is proposed to achieve a better subpixel mapping result. The proposed method was tested on simulated, synthetic, and real hyperspectral images, and the experimental results demonstrate that the AMCDSM algorithm outperforms the traditional subpixel mapping methods and provides a simple and efficient algorithm to regularize the ill-posed subpixel mapping problem. [Termes IGN] optimisation (mathématiques)Résumé : (Auteur) Constrained energy minimization (CEM) has been widely used for subpixel detection. It takes advantage of inverting the global sample correlation matrix R to suppress background so as to enhance detection of targets of interest. This paper presents a progressive band processing of CEM (PBP-CEM) which can perform CEM for target detection progressively band by band according to band sequential format. In doing so, a new concept, called causal band correlation matrix (CBCM), is introduced to replace the global sample correlation matrix R. It is a global correlation matrix formed by only those bands that were already visited up to the band currently being processed while excluding bands yet to be visited in the future. The proposed PBP-CEM allows CEM to be processed whenever bands are available, without waiting for completing band collection. With such an advantage, CEM has potential in data transmission and communication, specifically in satellite data processing. [Termes IGN] télémétrie laser terrestreRésumé : (auteur) Target identification is an important process in terrestrial laser scanner (TLS) measurements; however, due to strong competition between manufacturers, the design of laser scanners is kept secret and is usually strengthened by accompanying proprietary software. Moreover, the target identification algorithms (i.e. definitions of the target centre) are not specified. This makes it difficult for users to objectively compare scanners from different manufacturers and to judge the reliability of the captured scan data by a brand scanner and accompanying software. This paper presents a unified general method to complete the process of target identification. The proposed method consists of four major steps: first, determination of the target plane; second, classification of the reflection intensity values and extraction of the border between white and black; third, detection and elimination of erroneous points from step two; and fourth, fitting of the intersection lines and calculation of the centre of the two lines. Because TLS is a reflectorless surveying model that can receive hundreds of signals, its measurements require more stringent objective conditions than traditional measurement by total stations (TS). Therefore, robust estimation methods are used to reduce the influence of random errors; moreover, the model of error-in-value (EIV) is also introduced to deal with captured data. Finally, the target’s centre can be obtained from an iteration process. For the experiments, a Leica HDS 7000 terrestrial laser scanner, with its accompanying software, Cyclone, and a Leica Laser Tracker AT901 were employed. The performance of the proposed method is compared with Cyclone and some early methods from published studies at different resolutions and distances. The paper concludes that the proposed method can obtain reliable results at the same level of accuracy level as those obtained using accompanying software; thus, it provides an objective means to compare the quality of different scanners. The advantage is that our method only makes use of information provided by all scanners and does not require additional proprietary information that cannot be accessed. The satellite gravimetry observations are processed to become time-variable fields of ocean mass distribution. Error budgets for the observations and the ocean model’s initial state are estimated which contain the full covariance information. The consistency of the presented approach is demonstrated by increased agreement between GRACE observations and the ocean model. Furthermore, the simulations are compared with independent observations from 54 bottom pressure recorders. The assimilation improves the agreement to high-latitude recorders by up to 2 hPa. The improvements are caused by assimilation-induced changes in the atmospheric wind forcing, i.e., quantities not directly observed by GRACE. Finally, the use of the developed Kalman-Filter approach as a destriping filter to remove artificial noise contaminating the GRACE observations is presented Numéro de notice : A2015-332 Affiliation des auteurs : non IGN Thématique : POSITIONNEMENT Nature : Article nature-HAL : ArtAvecCL-RevueIntern DOI : 10.1007/s00190-014-0766-0 Date de publication en ligne : 11/10/2014 En ligne : https://doi.org/10.1007/s00190-014-0766-0 Format de la ressource électronique : URL article Permalink : https://documentation.ensg.eu/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=76657

Note de contenu : 1.
