[Termes IGN] zone d'intérêtRésumé : (auteur) This work presents a new method to transform omnidirectional images based on a combination of Moebius transformations in the complex plane and weighting functions that restrict the action of these mappings to regions of interest. The transformations are calculated based on the specification of the image of three points and the weighting functions are designed to achieve specific goals such as local zoom or straight line rectification. Since no optimization or numerical methods are involved, our implementation of the proposed method can be upgraded to reach real-time performance. We provide a user interface and present many results that illustrate the potential of the proposed technique. [Termes IGN] zone d'intérêtRésumé : (Auteur) Equivalence (the equal-area property of a map projection) is important to some categories of maps. However, unlike conformal projections, completely general techniques do not exist for creating new, computationally reasonable equal-area projections. The literature describes many specific equal-area projections and a few equal-area projections that are more or less configurable, but flexibility is still sparse. This work describes a new, highly configurable equal-area projection system consisting of arcs of concentric circles, placing it in the pseudoconic class. The system uses a novel technique to hybridize the Bonne pseudoconic projection and the Albers conic projection, subsuming many existing projections as degenerate cases. With the resulting system and the technique used to develop it, map projection designers will have greater choice in tailoring the projection to the need. The system may be particularly suited to maps that dynamically adapt to changing scale and region of interest, such as required for online maps. [Termes IGN] zone d'intérêtRésumé : (auteur) In this study, we propose a novel region-line primitive association framework (RLPAF) for OBIA. In this framework, segments (region primitive) and straight lines (line primitive) are obtained by image segmentation and straight line detection, respectively, before their corresponding intra-primitive features are extracted. An association model is built on inter-primitive topology and direction relationships. Several region-line collaborative features are also derived. Image analysis is then performed based on both region and line primitives. The advantage of RLPAF is the collaborative utilization of complementary information between regions and lines throughout the entire OBIA process: from image segmentation, to feature extraction, and finally, object recognition. To validate this framework, RLPAF is applied on road network extraction from high spatial resolution (HSR) remote sensing images. Experiments show that the proposed framework and methods refine primitive shape and spatial relationship analyses, as well as obtain higher method accuracy, than OBIAs based on only regions. [Termes IGN] zone d'intérêtRésumé : (auteur) Image mosaicking is a process during which multiple orthoimages are combined into a single seamless composite orthoimage. One of the most difficult steps in the automatic mosaicking of orthoimages is the seamline determination. This paper presents a novel algorithm that selects seamlines based on marker-based watershed segmentation. A representative seamline is extracted at the object level and the pixel level as follows. First, a watershed segmentation is performed to obtain the objects. To avoid over-segmentation, a regional adaptive marker-based watershed segmentation is proposed. Second, the object difference estimated by the correlation coefficient of each object is calculated, and the region adjacency matrix is built. Third, a technique for minimizing the maximum object cost is adopted to determine the objects through which the seamlines pass. Finally, pixel-level optimization is performed using Dijkstra's algorithm with a binary min-heap to determine the final seamlines. The experimental results on digital aerial orthoimages in different areas demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method compared with other algorithms. [Termes IGN] zone d'intérêtRésumé : (Auteur) This paper analyzes the multiangle imaging results for bistatic synthetic aperture radar (BSAR) based on global navigation satellite systems (GNSS-BSAR). Due to the shortcoming of GNSS-BSAR images, a multiangle observation and data processing strategy based on BeiDou-2 navigation satellites was put forward to improve the quality of images and the value of system application. Twenty-six BSAR experiments were conducted and analyzed in different configurations. Furthermore, a region-based fusion algorithm using region-of-interest (ROI) segmentation was proposed to generate a high-quality fusion image. Based on the fusion image, typical targets such as water area, vegetation area, and artificial targets were compared and interpreted among single/multiple-angle images. The results reveal that the multiangle imaging method was a good technique to enhance image information, which might extend the applications of GNSS-BSAR.
