[Termes IGN] traitement de données localiséesRésumé : (auteur) A lot of researchers utilize side-information, such as the map which is likely to be exploited by some attackers, to protect users’ location privacy in location-based service (LBS). However, current technologies universally model the side-information for all users and don’t distinguish different users. We argue that the side-information is personal for every user. In this paper, we propose an efficient method, namely EPLA, to protect the users’ privacy using visit probability. We select the dummy locations to achieve k-anonymity according to personal visit probability for users’ queries. In EPLA, we use AKDE(Approximate Kernel Density Estimate), which greatly reduces the computational complexity compared with KDE approach. We conduct the comprehensive experimental study on the two real Gowalla and Foursqure data sets and the experimental results show that EPLA obtains fine privacy performance and low computation complexity. [Termes IGN] zone urbaineRésumé : (Auteur) In recent years, pluvial floods caused by extreme rainfall events have occurred frequently. Especially in urban areas, they lead to serious damages and endanger the citizens’ safety. Therefore, real-time information about such events is desirable. With the increasing popularity of social media platforms, such as Twitter or Instagram, information provided by voluntary users becomes a valuable source for emergency response. Many applications have been built for disaster detection and flood mapping using crowdsourcing. Most of the applications so far have merely used keyword filtering or classical language processing methods to identify disaster relevant documents based on user generated texts. As the reliability of social media information is often under criticism, the precision of information retrieval plays a significant role for further analyses. Thus, in this paper, high quality eyewitnesses of rainfall and flooding events are retrieved from social media by applying deep learning approaches on user generated texts and photos. Subsequently, events are detected through spatiotemporal clustering and visualized together with these high quality eyewitnesses in a web map application. Analyses and case studies are conducted during flooding events in Paris, London and Berlin. [Termes IGN] traitement de données localiséesRésumé : (auteur) Map inference techniques aim at using GPS trajectories collected from a fleet of vehicles, to infer geographic information and enrich road map databases. In this paper, we investigate whether a Convolutional Neural Network can detect traffic signals on a raster map of features computed from a large dataset of GPS traces. Experimentation revealed that our model is able to capture traffic signal pattern signature on this very specific case of unnatural input images. Performance indices are encouraging but need to be improved through a more refined tuning of the workflow.
