[Termes IGN] urbanismeRésumé : (Auteur) Le projet Towntology a pour objectif la construction d'une ontologie urbaine, c'est-à-dire de constituer un vocabulaire formalisé regroupant pour le domaine de l'aménagement et l'urbanisme, l'ensemble des concepts et de leurs relations. Les objectifs de ce projet sont (1) l'identification des concepts du domaine en se basant sur une terminologie normalisée (2) la clarification du contexte d'utilisation d'un terme ; (3) l'organisation des concepts pour définir les relations qui existent entre eux; (4) l'élaboration d "une maquette afin de valider auprès d'utilisateurs experts notre ontologie de l'urbanisme. Cet article présente la démarche que nous avons adoptée pour réaliser ce projet et les résultats obtenus dans la construction de notre ontologie urbaine. Durant l'année scolaire 2002-2003, nous avons essentiellement travaillé sur la voirie, pour laquelle plus de 1000 termes ont été identifiés et organisés en concepts. Dans l'ontologie, ces concepts sont reliés par 20 types de relations différentes. [Termes IGN] XMLRésumé : (Editeur) L'ouvrage concerne l'une des évolutions des plus importantes depuis une décennie : la possibilité d'accéder à des parties d'un document à travers sa structure et de pouvoir y naviguer intelligemment. Cet ouvrage aborde certaines fonctionnalités avancées en recherche d'information : la rechercher multilingue, la visualisation de l'information, possibilité de filtrage et de classification. Le paradoxe de la recherche documentaire vient de ce que l'usager doit décrire l'information qu'il n'a pas. Il est plus facile aux usagers de découvrir ou de repérer quelque chose qui peut les intéresser, que de produire des descriptions formelles. Plusieurs travaux de recherche ont montré que les stratégies de présentation de l'information conditionnent les performances de recherche des usagers. Les systèmes de recherche d'information concernent plusieurs domaines : les applications classiques (GED, archives, bibliothèques et serveurs d'information), les bibliothèques numériques, la gestion de contenus (content record management), le Record management, la veille et la gestion des connaissances. Ces applications font l'objet de plusieurs publications. Dans cet ouvrage, les auteurs présentent trois applications critiques pour l'accès à l'information sur Internet : les systèmes de question-réponse, les moteurs de recherche et les outils de veille. Depuis plusieurs années, la manifestation s'est élargie à d'autres théories de l'incertain, telles que la théorie des fonctions de croyance, les probabilités imprécises, le raisonnement qualitatif,... L'édition 2003 s'inscrit dans cette continuité d'ouverture et témoigne de la vitalité de la communauté en termes de contributions théoriques et applicatives.
Le programme est organisé autour de 9 sessions régulières où sont présentés les 34 articles retenus, plus deux exposés invités : "Soft computing and the semantic Web" par Trevor Martin, Professeur à l'Université de Bristol (Royaume-Uni), "Soft constraints for handling temporal preferences" par Francesca Rossi, Professeur à l'Université de Padoue (Italie).Note de contenu : - Conférences Invitées
