[Termes IGN] test de performanceRésumé : (auteur) There are many positioning methods based on the usage of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System). They are classified according to the accuracy they can achieve, the time needed to obtain fixed solutions and the concept of positioning - number of used receivers, type of measurement, type of GNSS system, etc. One of the most important ways to do this is PPP (Precise Point Positioning) method, primarily because of its simplicity and cost-effectiveness. The paper describes PPP positioning method, its advantages and limitations, as well as the errors that can occur. It also provides an analysis of the performance of PPP method - precision, convergence time, loss of data reception, repeatability of positioning results and accuracy based on three measurement series in duration of 4 hours each, conducted on different days. By comparing the obtained coordinates with reference ones determined by AUSPOS web service, it can be concluded that the difference between these two sets of coordinates varies from 1 cm to 7 cm, while the accuracy of measured height is lower and the difference varies from 7 cm to 20 cm. [Termes IGN] utilisateurRésumé : (Auteur) Volunteered geographic information (VGI) has entered a phase where there are both a substantial amount of crowdsourced information available and a big interest in using it by organizations. But the issue of deciding the quality of VGI without resorting to a comparison with authoritative data remains an open challenge. This article first formulates the problem of quality assessment of VGI data. Then presents a model to measure trustworthiness of information and reputation of contributors by analyzing geometric, qualitative, and semantic aspects of edits over time. An implementation of the model is running on a small data-set for a preliminary empirical validation. The results indicate that the computed trustworthiness provides a valid approximation of VGI quality. [Termes IGN] utilisation du solRésumé : (auteur) Accurate and up-to-date information on land use and land cover (LULC) is needed to develop policies on reducing soil sealing through increased urbanization as well as to meet climate targets. More detailed information about building function is also required but is currently lacking. To improve these datasets, the national mapping agency of France, Institut de l’Information Géographique et Foréstière (IGN France), has developed a strategy for updating their LULC database on a update cycle every three years and building information on a continuous cycle using web, mobile, and wiki applications. Developed as part of the LandSense project and eventually tapping into the LandSense federated authentication system, this paper outlines the data collection campaigns, the key concepts that have driven the system architecture, and a description of the technologies developed for this solution. The campaigns have only just begun, so there are only preliminary results to date. Thus far, feedback on the web and mobile applications has been positive, but still requires a further demonstration of feasibility. [Termes IGN] trace GPSRésumé : (auteur) Pedestrian network information plays an important role in pedestrian location based service (LBS), and its completeness determines the quality of a pedestrian LBS. This study used volunteered data and BaiduMap to research how to extract pedestrian network information on the basis of pedestrian GPS trajectories. The method extracts human road information by three steps: cleaning track data, extracting the road network, and detecting and analysing the recognised pedestrian road facilities. Once the road network information is extracted, the information regarding road facilities can be obtained, e.g., pedestrian crossings, overpasses, and underground passages. This paper describes a new method for incrementally updating electronic maps.
