[Termes IGN] trajet (mobilité)Résumé : (auteur) This paper presents a novel high-order graph convolutional network (GCN) for pedestrian trajectory prediction. Specifically, the walking state of a target pedestrian depends on both its historical trajectory, which encodes its speed, walking direction and acceleration information, as well as the movement of its neighbors. Thus we propose to leverage GCNs to aggregate the trajectory features of the target pedestrian and its neighbors to predict the movement of the target pedestrian. Considering that the movement of the neighbors’ neighbors affects the movement of the target pedestrian’s neighbors, thus indirectly affecting the movement of the target pedestrian, we propose to use a high-order GCN for human–human interaction modelling. Such a high-order GCN considers the target pedestrian’s neighbors as well as its neighbors’ neighbors. Further, a pedestrian avoids collision with others by estimating its locations and its neighbors’ upcoming locations, and it slows down or changes direction if it believes a collision may occur, especially in very crowded scenes. In light of this, we propose to model such anticipation-based decision making behavior as attention and combine it with our high-order GCN. Thus we first roughly estimate the future trajectories of all pedestrians with a simple method. By using the coarse predicted future trajectory and GCN outputs, we calculate the attention in our attention-based high-order GCN and predict future trajectory. Extensive experiments validate the effectiveness of our approach. In addition, our model shows a higher data efficiency. On the ETH&UCY dataset, using only 5% of the training data for each training epoch, our model outperforms the state of the art. [Termes IGN] structure-from-motionRésumé : (auteur) Monocular depth estimation is a fundamental yet challenging task in computer vision as depth information will be lost when 3D scenes are mapped to 2D images. Although deep learning-based methods have led to considerable improvements for this task in a single image, most existing approaches still fail to overcome this limitation. Supervised learning methods model depth estimation as a regression problem and, as a result, require large amounts of ground truth depth data for training in actual scenarios. Unsupervised learning methods treat depth estimation as the synthesis of a new disparity map, which means that rectified stereo image pairs need to be used as the training dataset. Aiming to solve such problem, we present an encoder-decoder based framework, which infers depth maps from monocular video snippets in an unsupervised manner. First, we design an unsupervised learning scheme for the monocular depth estimation task based on the basic principles of structure from motion (SfM) and it only uses adjacent video clips rather than paired training data as supervision. Second, our method predicts two confidence masks to improve the robustness of the depth estimation model to avoid the occlusion problem. Finally, we leverage the largest scale and minimum depth loss instead of the multiscale and average loss to improve the accuracy of depth estimation. The experimental results on the benchmark KITTI dataset for depth estimation show that our method outperforms competing unsupervised methods. The study area was determined as the Arhavi-Kabisre river basin, a region in which the most landslide incidents occur in Turkey. Firstly, a landslide inventory was produced by identifying a total of 252 landslides. Secondly, a total of 11 landslide conditioning factors were considered for the landslide susceptibility mapping. Subsequently, the five machine learning techniques were constructed with the help of the training dataset for the landslide susceptibility maps. Finally, the receiver operating characteristic (ROC), sensitivity, specificity, F-measure, accuracy and kappa index were applied to compare and validate the performance of the five machine learning techniques. Although promising, these experiments raise new problems regarding the evaluation of the output images. Traditional map generalization evaluation cannot directly be applied to the results in a raster format. Additionally, the internal evaluation used by deep learning models is mostly based on the realism of images and the accuracy of pixels, and none of these criteria is sufficient to evaluate a generalization process. Finally, deep learning processes tend to hide the causal mechanisms and do not always guarantee a result that follows cartographic principles. In this article, we propose a method to adapt constraint-based evaluation to the images generated by deep learning models. We focus on the use case of mountain road generalization, and detail seven raster-based constraints, namely, clutter, coalescence reduction, smoothness, position preservation, road connectivity preservation, noise absence, and color realism constraints. These constraints can contribute to current studies on deep learning-based map generalization, as they can help guide the learning process, compare different models, validate these models, and identify remaining problems in the output images. They can also be used to assess the quality of training examples. [Termes IGN] invariantRésumé : (auteur) Due to the characteristics of vertical orthophoto imaging, the apparent structural features of the object in the remote sensing (RS) image are relatively stable, such as the cross-shaped structure of the aircraft and the rectangular structure of the vehicle. Compared with the traditional visual features, using these features is conducive to improving the accuracy of object detection. However, there are few studies on such characteristics. In this article, we systematically study the invariant structural features of remote sensing objects and propose a graph focusing aggregation network (GFA-Net) to represent the structural features of remote sensing objects. Among them, in view of the problem that traditional convolutional neural networks (CNNs) are sensitive to the changes in rotation, scale, and other factors, which makes it difficult to extract structural features, we propose the graph focusing process (GFP) based on the idea of graph convolution. Analysis and experiments show that graph structure has significant advantages over Euclidean feature space under CNN in expressing such structural features. In order to realize the end-to-end efficient training of the above model, we design a graph aggregation network (GAN) to update the weight of nodes. We verify the effectiveness of our method on the proposed multitask datasets aircraft component segmentation dataset (ACSD) and the large-scale Fine-grAined object recognItion in high-Resolution RS imagery (FAIR1M). Experiments conducted on the object detection datasets of large-scale Dataset for Object deTection in Aerial images (DOTA) and HRSC2016 prove that the proposed method is superior to the current state-of-the-art (SOTA) method.
