[Termes IGN] optimisation (mathématiques)Résumé : (Auteur) The determination of equalizing functions by discrete measurements is a main field of application of the geodetic adjustment theory. An ideal conception will be developed for one- and two-dimensional functions which refers to the curve of the variance-function. In the Gauss-Markov-Model and in the Gauss-Helmert-Model the favourable distribution of supporting points is determined by non-redundant measurements which develop optimum cofactor matrices, used as criterion matrices in the following. If a overdetermined arrangement of the measurement is used, the question is how to distribute the supporting points to approximate this optimum variance-covariance structure. This configuration problem can be soved by a criterion-matrix-refering approach based on the approximation to the criterion matrix by an iterative least-squares process. With reference to the experimental investigations described in the thesis, some applications shall be mentioned, where airborne laser profiling can be the method of first choice.
The thesis is subdivided into four main parts and a final summary. Part 1 introduces the principles of airborne laser profiling and place the method in relation to the conventional photogrammetric and tacheometric approach for topographic terrain survey.
Part Il is dedicated to the hardware components of the airborne laser profiling system and to the conception of the data evaluation for determining the coordinates of the laser points. At first, the problem of airborne laser range finding and airborne sensor orientation is analyzed. The presented solution demonstrates that a laser profiling system can be realized with already existing hardware components. Part Il also describes the computation of the coordinates of the laser points. Finally a method for the calibration of die complete system is presented.
Part III deals with the modeling of the laser profiles, in order to derive a digital elevation model. There are two tasks: the first is to separate the topographically utilizable laser points on die ground from die laser points referring to topographically not-relevant objects like buildings or vegetation. The second task is the derivation of terrain profiles with equidistant ground points. Two mathematical theories are applied to cope with this tasks: mathematical morphology and stochastic processes. The theory of stochastic processes is adapted to die requirements of modeling terrain profiles. Thus, observed non-stationary time series can be analyzed and processed even by robust estimation technique.
Part IV presents empirical investigations from 5 airborne laser profiling projects carried out between 1988 and 1990. The main results are summarized here in a few words. The laser beam was successfully reflected from various kinds of ground materials and ground covers. There are practically no restrictions for topographic terrain survey by airborne laser profiling. The penetration of the laser onto the ground of forest areas under summer conditions was between 16% and 39% dependent on the type of the trees. The accuracy of die terrain heights was estimated to h=0.15m in the project Harz 1989. This high accuracy was verified by a large number of photogrammetric and tacheometric measurements. The high accuracy qualifies airborne laser profiling, amongst photogrammetry and tacheometry, as a method for high precision topographic terrain survey.

The results of a 3D-acoustical-measurement-system (Topometrie) are compared with different photogrammetrk investigations. Anatomical references are explained as well as parameters to judge spinal column geometry. Within various clinical screenings methods are worked out to discribe the human body shape and its relatior to the spine. Accuracy, reproducability and clinical relevance of the investigations are mentioned criticaly. The results of the examinations have a great importance for high precise, spacial diagnosis of orthopaedic diseases. Moreover the 3D-surface-measurements enable an objective judgement of body asymmetries and geometrical-anatomical relations. The main aspect of this model is to increase the accuracy of strapdown systems to use them for geodetic applications.
The determination of state parameters, which describe the physical behaviour of the navigation errors is the main point. The mathematical equations in this model are derived from the Kalman-filter-algorithm. Instead of this algorithm which is used for on line processing, the state parameters are estimated off line in a Gauss-Markov-model, in use of all measurement data. Using mechanical equations of a horizontal orientated navigation system, an physical interpreta-tion of the state parameters is given.
The test measurements, under geodetic conditions has been carried out with the LASERNAV II from HONEYWELL, a strapdown navigationsystem, and in one case with the ULISS 30 from SAGEM, a conventional platform system. The influence of the configuration of the measurement on the accuracy is tested in the case of the LASERNAV II.
The results of the LASERNAV II and ULISS 30 are compared. The achieved accura-cies in position are about some dm for strapdown systems and cm for platform systems.
Furthermore measurements with INS/GPS combination complete the numerical tests and present an application of this model for measurements in aircrafts. With the achieved results, it is shown that strapdown INS can be used for some geodetic applications. Further theoretical aspects to integrate the inertial gravimetry in this model are described.Numéro de notice : 28076 Affiliation des auteurs : non IGN Thématique : POSITIONNEMENT Nature : Thèse étrangère Permalink : https://documentation.ensg.eu/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=63423 Réservation

In the present study the fixed gravimetric boundary value problems are considered for the exterior as well as for the interior domain of the earth. First of all existence and uniqueness of the solution are studied. For the solution theory the oblique Green's functions and the separable harmonic basis functions are generally discussed. The oblique derivative boundary operator is represented on the topography. A permissible reference density and the normal gravity field are derived from the equipotential earth spheroid. Based upon this the boundary value problems are solved by means of the spheroidal and Green's functions. The solutions are subsequently represented in the Hilbert space with reproducing kernel and the integral formulae on the earth spheroid are investigated with respect to the numerical aspects. The appendices give an overview of the special functions and the explicit representation of the infinite sums used in this study.
